Short Notice NJ Meet #3!!!

Ok, I've been talking to a few people... We wanna get together and have a small NJ meet. We're looking to do it on a Saturday (probably September 4th, yes, Labor Day weekend) somewhere in Central NJ. Someplace neutral, like a mall or a park. Nothing urban.

Suggestions would be cool from anyone who lives around there. I want to make it less than 2 hours away from EVERYONE that lives in NJ. The only place I had in mind would be Washington Crossing park, right on the NJ/PA border near Trenton. I go through there on my way to New Hope all the time, and it's a really nice area!

That's not set in stone. Ideas are welcome. I wanna have things set for sure by this coming Saturday though, so we can all make plans.

damn man u go to new hope. that is like 30 min away from me. went there for the first time and i loved it. speacially the street to get there. (don't tell me u go there so u can drive fast on those narrow streets)

yea menlo is mad easy... either take turnpike to exit 9 then route 18 north then route 1 north to menlo park

or take 295 north all the way to route 1 north to menlo park mall

me and chris went there for an import fanatic meet last year... it's a nice place... huge park, lotta parking spots...

Brian, we need you to give us something go on. Mapquest doesn't recognize Menlo Park.

And Medieval Times is a restaurant kinda thing... It's like $47 to get in, but you sit around an arena, eat some pretty cool food, and watch knights battle each other :D Each quarter of the arena gets assigned a knight, and they have to cheer for that knight. The winner is based on the crowd's reaction. It's really fun. Not for this meet, obviously, but perhaps sometime in the future it would be a cool thing to all do. Maybe in the winter when meets won't be fun :D

Yeah... Lemme see... of all of us on the board, we have about 10 people from South Jersey. I have a couple more friends who have to get on here yet :D We're all from the Camden/Burlington/Gloucester County areas.

Yeah man. You can't miss this one! You haven't been to any meets yet! I've heard so many people saying "my car won't be done" regarding this meet... NOBODY's car is done! That's the beauty of this stuff... we can all get new ideas and help each other out. Hell, I was blown away by cpmike's blue LED interior when I first saw it. lol. i am fixing the body panel from and accidet that i had a while ago. so i don't have the back seats the carpet or whatever. lol

to make things worst i tryed to cut a piece of the gas gauge on my reverse gauges and it turned out to be a shitty mistake. looks like a piece of shit now. eventhough i put some white paint to cover that shit. lol

-> parsonage rd jughandle
->past 2/3 traffic lights
->or rather after menlo park mall drive traffic light
->make a left onto roosevelt park and i think it's roosevelt road
->you'll see a park with swings and basketball coursts...
->we're gonna park on the immediate right side it has like seroiusly 50 spaces all free cuz no one parks there
->it is called roosevelt park

i got ai2t to come with me and check it out... he's at RU like me...

anywayz as for times and meeting up at south jersey im down too because im goin home friday to clean car... so someone post times to meet up @ bennigan's mmmk... sweet.

This is the most unorganized meet ever :D I have no idea how many will show. The South Jersey and Philly people are meeting at Bennigan's at 12, and anyone who isn't there by 12:30 is on their own. We leave at 12:30 sharp.

Anyone from NY or North Jersey, you guys can meet up together to come one-by-one. We'll all meet at the park between 12 and 2. We'll probably be there till 6 or 7, if things are going well. If not, we might go elsewhere, or just go home. (oneoffaccord, if you wanna try to make it, call my cell and see what's up)


Someone, bring a basketball, frizbee, SOMETHING! Looking at the cars is cool, but it's better if we have something else to do too!

The meet went really well. Got to meet ai2t and alb_accord (finally!) Everyone was really cool, and I had lots of fun! I wish more than 5 people showed up, but what can you ask for with 10 days notice and not much planning! (on Labor Day weekend no less!!!)

ice--i suggest that u paint ur bumper white. because the ones that u gona get from the junk jard will need to be painted

ai2t. i will get the prices. for the spoiler. most of them don't separate the door handle. u can get them on e bay for $15. but if i get lucky and find someone who is willing to sell them. what colour do u need and do u have power locks?

ok deever--first make sure it is the lower bolt joint. here is what u do. pull the car up in stands. then take a long craw bar and put it between the wheel assembly and the lower arm. try to move it up and down. if it moves then u will be needing a lower bolt joint. if not its probably the bushings or something else.

now the lower bolt joint at auto zone cost about $55 for both sides. and u will be needing a 2 ton puller to take off the lower bolt joint out of the lower arm(on mine it was a bitch to take off)

i have off tuesday and thursday so if u wanna meet up some place i would be happy to help u out.
