ok quick question,, disregarding the hubs on the CB,, will the caliper from a 92-96 prelude bolt up to the CB spindle,, if so then could we use the spoon calipers for the 92-96 prelude???????????

you could always do the rotor-over-hub conversion ans you couls use the 93-96 prelude vtec calipers with the bracket for that so in theory, unless the spoon calipers use a different bracket i dont see why you couldnt...the only thing you would probobly have to worry about is wheel clearence.

well what i did is alot easier so i'll explain as best i can and if you have any more questions, either post or give me a call and i'll help you out more. i bought a pair of front knuckles off of a 98 acura cl 2.3 from the junkyard, bought a pair of brembo slotted and cross-drilled 93 prelude vtec rotors and 93 prelude vtec calipers...vtec cuz theyre an inch bigger than our stock rotors. whats easier about this is that the acura knuckle already has the hub and wheel bearings pressed on so all you have to do is swap out your knuckle with the acura knuckle and youre done...just put on your new rotors and calipers, bleed your brakes and youre ready to go. what you should do though is get the acura cl rotors instead of the prelude...theyre the same size the only difference is that the holes on the rotors dont line up with the ones on the hub so youre not able to use the 2 bolts that hold the rotor to the hub...no biggie cuz the wheel lug nuts do that for you.

cool, use CL rotors...are they 2.3 CL rotors or 3.0 CL rotors? which are 11.2" or whatever it is?
hey buddy.. they are gonna be the cl 3.0 rotors if you are using the lude vtec calipers. hopefully that will be my next upgrade.
BTW... header nuts off hondaautomotiveparts.com are 2.26 a piece(like prolly 35 shipped for all) so imma find some elsewhere, and start her up soon.

They are 3.0 CL rotors, just looked back on my info...I knew I had it somewhere.
