I am interested in purchasing a turbo so that I may begin to put together a home-made tubro kit, however, I am concerned that the orientation of the compressor's outlet will not allow my setup to work.
You see, the exhaust housing would be on the driver's side of the engine bay and the compressor would need to be on the passenger's side, however, from the looks of it, most of the t3 turbos have the outlet pipe ,leading to the intercooler, facing towards the engine block if I put it on this way. Can the compressor housing be rotated so that this outlet will face towards my radiator, or will I have to find on that already faces that way? OR, am I just an idiot who's totally confused???
Thanx for any help.

yes, i ran into the same problem sir. The entire turbo can be rotated to suit ur needs. That goes for the compressor housing, the oil housing, and the exhaust housing. Just remember to mark the relations that you do not wish to change, unbolt some bolts, wiggle gently...GENTLY!!!, and rearrange
