do you guys that live in the mountain states like CO, NV, NM, AZ, & UT have emisions? or inspections?:confused:

Negatron, I think UT has inspections, but I have some special issues going on...I believe ours are more of a safety thing, and the emissions side isn't nearly as stringent.

Depends on the region, and the state.

AZ has emmissions in the Phoenix metro area and the Tucson metro area which covers well over 1/2 of the state's population.

I know Box Elder County, in northern Utah has no emissions. It was nice. :D

I've lived in Chandler and Scottsdale in AZ and I've had to go to Emissions every 2 years. But they really don't give a crap about the intake/header/exhaust mods. I had all 3 and passed w/ flying colors. The key is to drive the piss outta your car before you go there so you cat. is most efficient. I'm good til' May 2009.

At the moment, that is correct. However, as parts of the state get more populated, that may change.

every two years in colorado. you wont get hassled unless your engine bay looks like mine and they give you a binch of shit.

around SLC there is safty and emissions but here in wyoming theres none ever woot, heck you dont even have to show proof of insurance to get plates and tags lol

emissions here in Tucson, AZ kinda suck. Failed 4 times with 3 cars.

Currently failing with my stock GSX :shrug:
