Coo man, I want a kit, but I don't even no how 2 use it rite, like for an 5speed trans, say your on the highway in 3rd @ wot, and u spray, and its time 2 shift, to do u let go the button switch gears and spray again

well there isn't any button. just one to turn the kit on- the zex kit is all activated on a wot switch. as soon as you let off the wot it stops spraying. switch gears and mash the pedel again and hold on!:driving: mad torque steer on the 1 wheel drive haha

Here are a few pics of the short time I was running Nitrous. It was a NOS wet kit, universal 4 and 6 cyl. Great kit, but boost was for me. Regardless, I ran a 75 shot.

Thats the activation switch in the car to turn it on, and the switch on the TB was a WOT engagement switch.

Clean....I went with the ZEX kit because all the solenoids were in the little purple box, along with the WOT switch. Loved it

Nitrous is great, and you can build a car for a huge shot.

But, its just not the same as having a turbo car. Both have their advantages and disadvantages though, but its hard to teach a turbo guy new tricks.

Unless you teach him to use nitrous to spool his giant turbo...

that is what is called intercooler kit, you spray the intercooler with nitrous to keep temps down.

taken from nx's website:

For supercharged or turbo applications where nitrous is not an option, NX offers another alternative, the “N-tercooler”. Using either nitrous or CO2 this unit can reduce air inlet temperatures dramatically. In a recent dyno test, a turbocharged Honda, equipped with an NX “N-tercooler ”, increased its baseline by an astounding 52 horsepower! If it makes horsepower, it must be Nitrous Express!


i think i will go with nx just for the simple fact i havent heard anything bad about em.

ive heard zex "brains" go out alot, and that the kit is rated at crank.

not to mention the upgrade to wet is ridiculous.

nos has awful solenoids.

nx seems to be the best choice for sport compact. hands down.

I thought you COULD use nitrous on a turbo application... there are kits that you can time to start spraying at WOT and stop spraying once you hit full boost... It's to make up for turbo lag... Someone correct me if I'm wrong...
