I've been giving it much thought lately and figure what the hell I would like to look into participating in some autocross events. My cars already putting down some nice power and my suspensions tight. The only thing that needs work is my brakes and I was already planing on upgrading those.

So does anyone have any web sites with information on how to participate in these types of events, when they take place, and etc.?

Thanks.

Thanks for the replies I appreciate the help. Fizzbob I agree having a lighter car would be nice but I would like to see what my Accord can do.

I was looking over that SCCA site and there is allot of information to take in, a little over whelming even confusing.

Does anyone on this site currently compete in any of these type of events? I would love to compete in rally events those are awesome but I can't afford the hardware.

You might try some of the colleges around where you live. Sometimes there are some clubs that compete in AutoX. I attend Clemson University in South Carolina. We have a club called the Clemson Sports Car Club. The club usually hosts six or so AutoXs on campus a year. I just joined a couple of weeks ago. They have to club cars that you can use if you don't want to beat up your daily driver. One is an 83ish RX-7 and the other is a 90 Crx. We were supposed to have a race on the 5th but we are encountering problems with the campus police and safety concerns. We are working on getting it straightened out. Hopefully we will have a race within the next couple of weeks.
If you are ever in the area you should come check it out. We have a site with a calender of events. I'll have to find the web address. Any way I hope that this helps. Sorry if I rambled. Good luck!
