well after a good 1st meet, its time for another before the cold rainy weather comes back, sometime in the middle of november before thanksgiving cause i know eveyrone will be busy, the meeting place will be in concord and a big cruise to san fran to hooters :D this isnt a final decision yet but it can be once we kow what the outcome will be, so if anyone is able to make it to the meet, let me know, only serious people that is down to go post up, lets all NOR CAL CB7'S UNITE!!!

I don't even know where that is, how how to get to it. From my experience, the South Bay isn't exactly very easy to drive around in. When I met with just Jose and Shane, Mall security was sweating us, and we were just 3 cars.

We still haven't made a rough schedule of what we'll do (besides pic shooting, etc.) I like the idea of a BBQ, but it's hard to get coordinated and there's too much stuff to lug around. Since some people are coming from so far away it's just easier that way. So perhaps hitting up Fuddruckers wouldn't be a bad thing to do again. Also a cruise would be nice. I have a few things in mind. Instead of Mt. Diablo, some backroads might be more fun, and there will be less traffic lights to separate us too. So how does this sound?

Nah, I have a better idea, since there were too many damn stop lights, etc. It would be to drive through Pleasant Hill out to highway 24, then short freeway run to Orinda, then 2 lane road along side the San Pablo Resevoir, then cut through Castro Ranch, then Bear Creek road (long sweeping curves) and back to Orinda to hit the freeway to go to eat somewhere. It's not really that long

You can buy the lining from Honduh. Glad you can go. I'm not there to impress anyone either. Just want to meet and shoot the breeze with people. The cruise is not meant to be fast. It's just laid back and scenic. Chance of rain last time I checked was 50%, so we'll see what happens.

Just wanted to give you guys an update. I came home about 9 last night. Went right to bed of course. Woke up in bad pain, but I took 2 Vicatins and now I'm feeling fine! I'll have to wait up to two weeks to find out if it was cancerous and if its spread. The surgeon told us it looked benighn(spelling?) to him, but tests would prove that.

So now its just a waiting game.

okay heres my comments, the meet was cool and all but it had very poor organization.

we could have done everything in 5 hours tops, there was no one to lead us. the cruise was scattered as fuck. half the ppl wanted to eat, half wanted to photoshoot and some wanted to cruise.

next time, its going to be in the peninsula, we are going to have it on a sunny day, cruise by half moon bay, kick it on the beach, photo op it up and possibly bbq. if not we'll eat some food at a local restaurant.

you need something other than crusiing and photo-ops.

id suggest doing a car meet at a local festivity, such as HIN or something along those lines. cuz talking about cars for 6 fucking hours is a bit long, that is why i never opened my mouth.
and 9 out of 15 ppl showed up, great...

so overall good experience, but likliness of doing it again is 50% unless it was organized better.

i was with my friend getting gas at this huge arco and it was packed. so i was waiting in line for a pump and left room between the car in front and i so i can let ppl go through. this woman in her tahoe swings around and doesnt make it through but almost hits me. she waves her hands up like, "wtf are you doing?"

lol......the only reason i didn't go is because right now my car has no insurance :p . But my brother had no excuse not to go. But you should start a thread for a CB7 Norcal Meet #3 so that everyone can ask for the day off if they work, in time. It could probably be even bigger than this past one. :D

I didn't start this thread, just threw out a date that worked for me. That was a little over 3 weeks in advance, and still people didn't ask off of work in time.

Well maybe a late May/early June meet would be cool. Should be Peninsula/South Bay, since many of the Sac guys had their chance. Come to think about it, we should do it on Livermore in front of LXRida's house, since he's now flaked on us for the 3rd time in a row! That way we'll be able to catch him when he comes out from his house for whatever :D
