stupid engine question

ok ive got a really retarted question. well ive been looking around at the engine swap stuff cuz im thinking about swapping my f22a6 for another engine. ive got 140K on it and im looking for something with more power. im poor so ive been looking for something cheap and im liking the f22b or the h23 idea, but neither one is vtec. again im poor so im not that worried about the "vtec" tag on it, but heres my stupid question, ive been looking at the pictures of these 2 engines, and neither one of the DOHC's have wire covers. i know its retarted i just wondered why not? is that a vtec thing, its on all the vtec engines, but not the 2 non vtecs im looking into. do they make them for those 2 engines and just i havent seen them? anyway just curious, so dont rag on me for asking.

Nope no plug covers for the F22B/H23A1. I personally would like to have a cover on mine, but I have yet to find one.

damn man, it looks so naked without it, anyway u have a jdm f22b? how much did u pay, and was it worth it??? i mean 8 to 1100 for 20 horses? i have a 93 ex and im debating on whether its worth it or not, was yours worth the price???? im not going h22, too much and too common. anyway gimme some info on your jdm f22b cuz im really interested in getting one

the sohc usdm f22b is vtec. but id still go with the h23

Think about a Vtec h22a head on a stock f22a6 block
its been done before but not many people have tried it....
