well here's the deal, Honda-Tech last year had 2 meets in Nashville, a summer meet (during the Lebanon Car show in June) and one in the Fall (the annual Fall Southeast meet)... 3 of us from CB7 showed up to the fall meet (Steve was gonna come but had brake troubles) This year, Hibbs (the guy from Honda-Tech that gets together the southeast meets every year), is having 3 H-T meets! one in the spring, one in the summer (Lebanon car show) and another in the fall...


What I was planning on doing, is waiting for him to annouce the spring meet for H-T and we'll plan to have ours that same weekend. That way, we can Represent the CB7 a little better than it has been in the southeast the past couple of times (the last meet CB7's consisted of me, Josh JDMcb7, Elliot Uncle_El, Adam H23accord, and Dustin slow904door, two of which did not have there cars!)


if the H-T meet falls through, then we'll still try to set a date in late april or early may.... the place we have it is up to all of you... Nashville is the largest city thats kinda in the middle of the vast majority of the East side of the United States CB7 community... The Lexington idea is good, but remember, the closer you get to the northeast, the farther away the people in ATL have to drive as well... theres not really a good place in between Nashville and LExington that we could have it :(

nashville is fine, im planning on coming even though its going to be 9 hours if you have the meet on a SATURDAY so i dont get home at like 3 am like i did for the MD meet on monday morning. late april would be best for me, so right now count me in.

if you could find somwhere a lil closer to ATLANTA that would be even better

Looks like its a pretty good turnout... count me in for sure.

It would be nice if we could find a nice area though, and make a whole day thing out of it.

Like meet up in the morning, check out cars and stuff, then take a parade style drive through some nice twisty backroads, or somewhere nice to get good pics of all the cars away from the general traffic.

Then mid-day, eat somewhere, and drive somewhere as a group, like some go-cart racing(actually kart2kart would be perfect). I'm sure there is something like that in one of the potential states for the meet. It is a little expensive, but you race these carts, grand prix style racing, and they have like timing on each. And there are like 3 heats, then 2 different final rounds. To get to see who the real best driver is.

Anyways, thats what I would like to see.. if someone knows of some nice roads or nice areas, let us know. I am guessing there may be more nice mountain winding roads in tennessee. But I dunno.

Josh see if you cant get a deal with the Downtown Holiday Inn going... thats where I stayed for the Honda-Tech meet and they had a deal for people going to the HT meet.... I'm sure they'll work something out to where it will be a little cheaper, plus it is in the Heart of downtown Nashville (I was thinking one place we could go for the meet would be under the walking bridge where we went for the HT meet that first night)

Depending on the number of people coming, you guys can probably crash at the parents house (it's pretty damn big) but again that depends on the number of people coming. true.. but just from past experience.. walkies are easier since everyone can hear you. But thats just me. Cuz i'll be bringing one, and a cb radio aswell(the best fuzz buster), so it would be easier to let everyone know at once with a walkie. I will possibly also have nextel by the time it comes around for my new job.

We are still working out the details. I really need to get with Shawn and discuss a few things but I know he is very busy, and I am moving in the next couple of days so I don't know if I'll be able to get in touch with him. We will update this thread when we get the details figured out.

Well no one will participate in our poll and tell us what days they would prefer to have the meet on, so I have't tried to do anything else with it because lack of intrest.

Well, I finally worked things out with my dad (since the 90 EX is technically his car...I'm just using it for work, etc). So I will be able to drive this car to the Spring 2005 meet in TN, whenever a date gets set. I voted on your poll. The best for me is going up Friday, Saturday have the meet, Sunday drive home. I would be coming from Southeast Michigan and the only reason I am bothering is because this seems like it will be a good turn out, with some worth while setups to look at.

As for my F22a1 project and what I'd have to show for it....well, I may have another CB7 that is mine by then, or not. But at least I can bring up the parts I've had worked on and/or bought so far....sorry, but that's all I have to show for on my project.

I'd say I have a really good chance on coming. Maybe stay at a friends or if we all crash at a hotel, we can get a lil partalayin goin on and/or go out for the night or something!

Edit.. I'm getting it back. We agreed on me giving her 1200 towards her 5th gen which is cool because she'll have a nicer car and I'll have my project car. I know the history of this car and I know that I babied it before her and she has done the same. We live together so both of us will have access to it anyways.

If you plan to attend, and want to join us in the cb7 tagalong... please PM me with the meet in the subject, and your zip code and also your real name. Then I can make a map, and see where about people are at, and the best general areas to stop at. I will make a general map, and find bigger stops to stop at to pick up people, and also stops that will have food/gas/some kind of store(autozone if possible, just incase).

I will probably be starting off the journey alone. I am pretty much at the bottom of I-75, and i dont know of anyone around here that is going. I just want to get this setup, so come the days before the meet, you will know what exit you should be at, and about when we will arrive there. A little later on, we'll have someone in charge of the individual exits so we can make sure everyone is there and shouldnt have to wait too long.

I just thought of this, but CPmike is most likely not coming because of his new job, his boss taking a vacation during the time the meet occurs, etc and so he has to be there to open shop blah blah....

Anyhow, he was the one compiling the list of cell phone #'s I believe...he took over, JDMcb7 was doing it before.

What is the exact purpose of this cell phone list? Because if you're driving down wit ur crew, you best have these numbers already and the only persons outside this crew that you'd need in terms of numbers should be JDMcb7 and/or shawn.hayden so you can find out what's the status of the meet, any changes, etc. As long as you make it to the meet, you can get whomever's cell phone #'s from there. I am not going to post up everyone's cell #'s for everyone to see, don't make sense too.

Anyways, someone inform me why this needs to be done. I don't quite see the point when u can get whomever's cell # at the meet, as long as u make it there.
