ECM+Turbo

i just finished talking to a friend of mine from a 3rd gen accord website..
i talked a little bit about applying his turbo kits from the third gen to the 4th gen.. he says hes willing to do it but needs a prototype car.
he lives in michigan and the only person i know of thats in michigan is xplode... and he has cash laying around.. lol.. but well get into that later between me and him
since the 4th and 5th gen are fairly similar motor wise.
the kit will also work on a 4th gen.
ecm=standalone fuel management..
i couldnt get him to apply the D.I.S to the 4th gen because it would be too much work D.I.S= distributorless ignition system
so thats out the window
but i think the standalone and the turbo kit would be a plus for the 4th gen/5th gen
anyhoot price isnt set yet .. i first need to see if anybody is interested ..
sean isnt an amateur at this either.. if u guys remember my sig .. his prototype for the 3rd gen made some serious power at 12lbs.
so.. if i generate enough serious interest we gotta see if anyone in michigan or near there is interested in being the prototype car.
so he has a template to build on.
the kit will range 4kish
which isnt bad.
full turbo kit, including everything needed,
ecm standalone,
and most importantly
tuned by him.
so if you guys are interested give me a ring.. would be nice to have some more boosted 4th gens running around kicking some h22 ass.. NO OFFENSE U ACCLUDE owners.. lol:boink:

Well... thats an awful tempting idea.... im seriously considering it because well.. i want turbo soo damn badly i want that spooling sound and the fucking BOOST!!.. 4k? that seems very possible,

Would everything include an intercooler ... and you say the ecu is pre-tuned? Is tuned for an otherwise stock engine or what? What kind of turbo would it be (brand/size)? What kind of boost would it be able to handle efficiently?

the ecm is tuneable.. if any engine code comes up any certificed mechanic can check it because its a gm ecu
the chips can be upgraded for whatever needed.
the price is actually lower

of course the first person is the prototype this may be steven if he desides to run this through..
after that he can have a ecm preprogrammed for 4th gens. and of course the turbo kit would be sold and shipped completely..
in any case i will keep you guys informed on what goes down.
