mugen stuff for us?

normally this would be something I would expect people to ask me lol but this I really don't know. I've heard there supposedly was a front lip, maybe a spoiler too then. the problem is I find it hard to believe that no matter how rare I would have never seen one myself. anyone have any info on this? my interest has just been resparked in this topic because I saw someone supposedly selling a mugen front lip for a 3rd gen, so if they really did make it for the 3rd gen, and the 5th gen I know for sure they did, it of course makes sense that they made some parts for the 4th gen in between. now the only problem is finding out if the 3g lip was real because everyone I talked to hasnt heard of it.

mugen doesnt pay attention to the accord crowd because in there mind it has no "potential" piff w.e.. to my knowledge there is no mugen acccessories for the cb7. prove me wrong thou id love that..
i bet if we asked thou with enough quantity they would make something such as a lip,mirrors spoiler ect but nothing serious...:(

actually, yes... you are correct. Mugen, at one point or another (many moons ago), produced a front lip spoiler for the 4th gen accord. They stopped production due to the lack of demand. If you thought the Eastbear grill was rare... this is like trying to find the holy grail.

if the greddy lip goes for $180 and higher, imagine the price on that thing!!!!!! i would assume/presume that it would be so expensive, that it would never go on my car, lol. if someone finds a pic of it, please share.

yea thats the post I saw. so I figured if they made it for 3rd gens, and 5th gens, then it obviously makes sense that they made stuff for the 4th gens. btw if I thought that could be fit on my bumper and look nice I would have already bought it ;)

i've also heard that mugen DID make a front bumper for our cars. why would they make stuff for 3rd gen and 5th gen accords and not for 4th gens? that doesn't make any sense. then again maybe it's a conspiracy LOL. the closest thing mugen made for our cars i know is the M7 rims.

as far as i know Mugen has never made CF lips for cars that old or even new cars cf lips. Isn't it just a cf lip with a mugen emblem?? :shrug:

So far, I've never even seen stuff for the 4th gen from Mugen. I've seen copy cats of the real stuff, but nothing genuine. Who even knows if the real ones even look like the copys?

very true they sold mugen wings for our year cars i have also seen it to bad they didnt produce it anymore it was really nice if you look at a civic mugen wing it was practically the same one but dimensions for our car

I'm pretty sure they didn't actually sell a mugen wing on importfan, just a "mugen style" which really means its probably not based on anything mugen made for the 90-93 accord but just mugen's style in general. Like the mugen lips for the 5th gen accords are not at all close to the real mugen 5th gen stuff, they are based off of civic parts. As for the lip I bought, theres no doubt in my mind that its geniune mugen, however it is not for a 90-93 accord.

I HIGHLY doubt mugen would make a spoiler like that, atleast for our accords

it looked good doe on our car i wouldve gotten it but that was like a few years bakk when i was in junior year i think of highschool it was pretty cool the pictures of the buddy club rear they have on there website is the same car that recieved the wing i wonder if the person still has it... or the company has some they made but never got sold

Meh, I'd try the RSX-S wing on our cars before that "Mugen" wing. JDM is so overrated these days- Mugen stuff especially. I knew their stuff was overrated when they redid the S2000 and got no more power from it than stock. It looked sexy as hell, but was def. not worth the $10-20K premium; ridiculous.

well I never really tried to mod it to go on. I don't remember who said what, but a few people were saying it was too long and was possibly for a 5th gen. However the sides are actually too short. I think its for something like the legend or vigor but haven't been able to try it on one of those to see.

I could have sworn I seen a mugen front lip for our year accords on ebay, I think the "dohc garage" was selling them. Maybe it was mugen style or something. :shrug:

I think my friend Ripped me off when he
sold me this "Mugen Short Ram intake" that i got
on my car. I thought it was real, because it came in the Mugen
box, and it came with Decals and a lisence plate holder.
I gave him the $60 that he wanted and that was that.
But everywhere i go, people want to know where i got that from,
and they keep telling me its a Mugen Style intake, cuz they never
made one for our cars... :shrug:

The price I guess is worth the name, if you are into that sort of stuff. It was an actual Mugen lip for a cb7. He sent me receipts and documents proving it, along with an emblem etched into the lip itself.
