I saw this radar detector that was installed in this car but it was a screen and it picked up where cops where within a certain range from your position. It almost looks like a GPA system but some how picks up the radio waves from police cars. I cant find out a name brand or anything and was wondering if anyone knows of it.

What up guys yes teh valentine one is the best radar detector in the world. i have four cars and i have one in each one. Not only does it tell you where the radar is coming from, it tells you what band of radar so you can tell if its teh supermarket or a cop. It tells you the intesity of the signal so you can see and hear how close youa re and if you are getting closer or if yoru traveling away from it. And finally it also tells you how any radar signals yoru getting so if your on teh 95 when you go by teh traffic cameras itll go off as x band so youll no its not improtant but if you hear a secondary beep then itll warn you that there is another signal and it will then say 2, the intesity depending on the distance, and both bands, its crazy i love it. The price is not cheep but for 500 dollars it has saved my ass many times. Ive spent about two grand in total on teh valentines for my cars and it was dam worth it, they also have a remote display so on my cb7 i have a little display in my gauge cluster, to keep it inconspicuous. www.valentine1.com Heres the site go check it out. I'm a little confused, does the valentine go off when a cop is around or only if he is using radar?

Yeah only if he's shooting radar if the cop is not shooting radar or laser then it wont go off....

Ha Ha that sucks an but cops need to haev evidence of you speeding otherwise if you fight the ticket you will get away. Well in connecticut at least. My friend was pulled over for speeding and the cop didint have radar or laser so he fought the ticket and got away because of insufficient evidence.

Its not like that every where. I know in Maryland a cop goin the opposite direction of you can pull you over. If he feels you are speeding he can give you a ticket with a standard fee. SInce he doesnt know the exact speed he cant give you a huge ticket but a ticket none the less.

I received my first two tickets within a few days apart. I could have ...
A Plead guilty to both and have 10 points on my license
B Tried to fight both, fail and receive 10 points on my license
C Plea bargain and only receive 4 points
D Plea guilty to the one with laser, and fight the one without lser and possibly still fail
E Leave the country
I chose C though cause the others were to risky.
Now if i can get one that detected Bacon I'll be set.
