Hi to all all of my brakes need replacin specialy the back i would like to augment the size of the rotor and or change the calipers too does the prelud / ledgen/some other honda have biger caliper and rotor that can fit a 93 exr 4 weel abs Thanks for your help
i don't know of any other rear rotor setup that would be a simple "bolt-on" for the 4th gen. more importantly, however, by changing components not intended for the car, you may be offsetting your brake bias. the change may be significant enough that you'll be locking up your rears much too quickly.
most of the braking is done in the front. it's not worth messing with.

well, the exr is the ex here in the states. i'll go home and check my helms manual to see if such a valve exists on the master cylinder.

There are really only two sizes of rear brake setups that Honda uses.
The little ones are for 3G Accords, 3-4G Preludes, Integras (except ITR), and Civics.
The big ones are for all of the 4-7G Accords, CR-Vs, 1G Odysseys, 5-6G Preludes, CLs, TLs, RLs, Legends and Vigors.
The 2G Odysseys, Pilots, and MDXs may have a different size... I don't know for sure, but I will tomorrow when a set arrives... :)

Thanks for quick replies its says its near the left front fender where exacly ? but it says its there ! so what your sayin is that we have all the same rear disk exept for the newer models ?
Thanks
if it says it's near the front left fender, then it's probably talking about the brake master cylinder.

Okay, the Odyssey/Pilot/MDX brake pads arrived today, and the are about the same size as the Accord pads. slightly longer, but narrower.

You are talking about the proportioning valve. It's not adjustable. It's set at the factory.
Since your EX-R already has 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS the valve is already correctly set for a rear wheel disc brake configuration.
If you where able to increase the size of your rear brakes then you would need to make an adjustment to properly distribute fluid. But since there is nothing else that fits back there you can leave it alone.

BustedLX is correct but I there are aso aftermarket adjustable proportioning valves as well. I just finished up my rear disk brake conversion on my LX still using my LX proportioning valve. Then a couple days later i swapped the LX one for an EX one and the brake pedal feel is way better, evening out the braking.

The 92-93 EX which is the Accord that came equiped with 4-wheel disc brakes had an "H" style proportioning valve where two lines entered, two lines left. Where as the LX had a main body style where two lines entered and four lines left. They are completly different and non compatible.
Now you could use the 1990-1993 Integra 4-wheel disc non-ABS proportioning valve or the 1991 CRX SI proportioning valve. That would get the job done.
