nah i know for a fact that they dont, i used an autozone clutch in my car for about 3k miles and i beat the ever living shit out of that motor because i knew i was getting a healthy one, when i pulled the motor out it was still fresh and factory looking iwth countless burn outs on it, so to answer your question, burnouts dont hurt your clutch any more than taking off from a stop

Well, if you shift into first, rev it up and drop and/or easy off clutch fast while revvin it up...why would it hurt it? Unless ur sitting there riding the clutch while your revving the piss outta ur engine....in that case u'd be a dumbass ...but it's been done

a friend of mine showed me a video of a VTEC 97+ prelude doing that and everyone laughed at him after his burnout

1) cuz it was a crappy burnout

2) cuz he totally fried his clutch and it stank up the place
