Hello all. I am in the process of dressing up my car's interior. I am assembling a lsit of parts, such as whtie face euro gauges, carbon bezel, hopefully a carbon trim kit, and some other parts. I found a really cool shift knob from procarparts, that is silver, with a blue glowing honda h in the middle. The problem is..I don't know how to remove the stock shift boot, nor do I know what will fit in it's place..someone, please post info, and pics of yours..I need help..

what u wanna do 2 remove ur shift booty thing. is u have 2 remove the screws on the side of ur console. i think there is like 1 on each side of the rear console 1 on each side of the console in between the seats where the rear and the 1 up front meet. and 1 on each side by the ash tray are. once u remove those u should be able 2 remove ur whole center console bottom piece. once that is takin off u should be able 2 just unscrew it off from under the console. this is just from memory so i am not 2 sure on this. this is also for a 92-93 it may be different for the 90-91. have fun. just get a screw driver and u c any screws on the side of ur console just start 2 take them out and it will all come off once u get all the right screws.

ok, that is what I thought. I do in fact own a 92 ex coupe, so yeah. As far as replacements..waht can I use? Every replacement boot i see is round at the bottom, like the momos, sparcos, etc. I need a replacement, as the one I have looks hack, not to mention that the top of it has that silver "chrome" clip, that connects to teh bottom of the stock boot..
