Well, I finally picked up my EX, I was not hipped to a few of the body issues until now, they really aren't a problem, this project is still a go. Once I toss the h23 in there (sitting in my friends garage) I should be worlds happier.
ENGINE/PERFORMANCE:
Pivot Vtec Controller
2.5" Full Exhaust w/ N1 Muffler
WHEELS/SUSPENSION:
H&R Race Springs
Neuspeed Strut Tower Bar
EXTERIOR:
stock
INTERIOR:
stock
AUDIO/ELECTRONICS:
stock
Future:
h23 non-vtec
17" rims (not sure style/color, but not chrome)
Sway Bar upgrades
So, away with the pics (leaving out the close ups of damage so I don't have to look at them too much)

looks like you had some of that common rust on the rear quarter panel... and it looks like you did some body work to it. it looks primered. did you remove the rust yourself?

Actually, the bodywork was done on both sides before I got it, but it was never painted so again a little rust, the passenger side is the worse looking. I'll need to do some hefty work on it*, and a couple of small dents in the rear and I'll be ready to paint.
The poor passenger side wheel well :(

*not sure I can save much of this side, I will probably be learning to weld by the looks of it. Also I may just cut out the underside on both sides (like rolled, but just removed instead) so I can allow for some more tuck action when bigger wheels are purchased.

I am not sure why you gave me the oops emot. I would suppose it's because this is under my hood, and because it came with the car. ;)
Of course, once I put the h23 in there, the Pivot unit is more of just a glorified A/F unit with no real purpose but the air/fuel... Will probably take it out and use it on my EF9 (after I replace the DOHC ZC with a b16).

well.. as far as that quarter panel rust.. i had the same exact problem. i recently did some body work with my dad, and now it's primered and ready for paint. looks great. i took pics of the whole process, and i will post up a DIY very soon. this might be helpful to you if you are considering doing the body work yourself.

That would be very helpful for probably more than just me, if you cannot get around to it, email me the photos jspec@cell7.org and I will post them up for you ;) (with credit to you of course).

http://www.cell7.org/images/accord6.jpg Why are you not sure about the oops emot? there was no indication earlier of your situation with the motor. just because its called oops doesnt mean that i meant "oops". i used it as a expresion for my question. i mean i would have supposed it if you had that pic up first.

I talked to the guy that I bought the car from, I didn't realize that he had swapped in the vtec motor before, I just assumed that all of the EX's at least sported a vtec powerplant (my knowledge of Honda's up until a few weeks ago extended mainly into the Civic models and Integra's). Sorry for the confustion.
