which would u all recommend, the wide open throttle for nitrous (just arm it when ready and go) or the regular button?

i like the wot switch but im thinkin if i floored it off the line it would kick in at 1st...then 2nd.....then 3rd and so on and this might cause me to spin tires. but as for the button i can hit it like in 3rd gear and go.

what do u all think?

i remember they were doing NOS on a focus...and it was a throttle nos where when u hit a certain iadjustable point on the thrott.e the nos woiuld enguage so that it wont be on all the time....

he adjusted it so when the pedal is 85% down...nos would enguage...

yeah, i know, but when im at the track i floor it.....shift to 2nd, then floor it, shift to 3rd, then floor it. so will the nos kicking in everytime, i dont mind it kicking in every gear but when i floor it will it engage at that moment cause if so more then likely its gona make me spin.

yeauup .. u will spin most likely 1st-2nd.. which is why i like the switch better.. all though the wot switch is nice.. nothing like having the control in your hand.. and most of us when racing tend to wanna shift fast lol.. therefore causing us to slam on the gas incredibley quick.. and ..maybe cause u to break loose again.. so i choose the button..

yeah thats what i was thinking, because i love the wot thing but i thought about that problem, then if u got the switch u can hit it once u have good traction which is normally in 3rd.

but im still deciding, i mean i like the fact i can hit the switch when approaching the light then dont have to worry about hittin a switch again until the race is over and thats just to disarm it, but its just the traction issue

i wonder can u arm it while ur driven....lol j/k

You could just by a deley box. They make control boxes for N20 cars that can delay the N20 solonoids for about 2-3 tenths of a second from when you activate them.

So for example you floor it, the N20 switch activates, you launch with minimal tire spin, 2-3 tenths of a second later once you are rolling the N20 activates and begins to spray.

Racers have been using this for quite some time. I'm actually making two this weekend from scratch, one for my car and one for my buddy's pro street car. I don't see a reason to pay for something I can make allot cheaper.

damn, thats smart, that would really decrease wheel spin.
u floor it then a half a second later the nx kicks in, nice...:D
im not planning to spray until next year but kick me updated on ur progress for this once u've dont it. i might have to get u to tell me how to make one or pay u to make one for me...;)

Well Nitrous Pro-Flow already makes one. It's not that cheap though and I just can't see buying what I can make myself.
