dude dont post more than once. sorrie G...im not yelling or anything, but people will see it. for now i put it in the other one in the appearence forum where i think it should go unless u have some technical question about this product.
yet the other 3 posts u done may be deleted my an administrator....yet the one i put in appearance will stay.
too bad i have no power over this forum muahahhahaha fizz bob move over! lolz jk.
dont get discouraged though man...pretty clean valve cover though, i wonder if its heat treated and long lasting.

my valve cover is polished so i dont have to worry about the chrome peeling...makes the engine bay look cleaner than with the stock black one

I'm thinking about doing my in a couple weeks. I read a good diy on it and it seems pretty straight forward.. Did you do yours yourself?

i got mine off of ebay and it was stripped of the black stuff already...just plain aluminum. but i heard that it chips off easily. i took it to a polishing shop and they only charged me like 20 bucks to do it

Yeah all you need is aircraft grade paint stripper for getting the paint off. Other than that I just heard that it takes a lot of time with aluminum polish and a dremel using sandpaper. What kind of shop would do polishing like that? How does it look compared to the chrome... is it still pretty shiny?
