i would probably get nauseous and puke sitting inside of an all red car like that... thats fugly..

if the interior wasnt colored like that and the wing was gone, it would look a ton better IMO.

im surprised the tail lights arent redded-out.

if by sick you mean ugly, i agree 100%. the wheels are nice, and cant beat the right hand drive...but that kit is nasty so is the interior

I like it for what it is... not my style, but I still think it's pretty impressive. You could just hose of that interior if it got dirty!

i dunno guys... I'm kind of diggin' the exterior (although I would never consider doing it to my car). I can honestly say that's one of the best widebody conversions I've seen. The interior does need improvement. I agree with it being too much red... if the interior were all back...

yeah... if it were all black (leather) inside, that would look really nice. i mean the exterior looks really good by popular standards. its not my style, but i can see why people like it.

Some more crazy stuff:

I talked to my friend in Indonesia whose seen the car driving around Jakarta and knows peeps who've seen it in person, and he thinks it's rocking a turbo. Most of the body work is sheet metal, too. And the five-lug conversion is to BMW 5x120 bolt pattern. He says the rims are, like, 10.5 or 11 inches wide in the rear.

In Indonesia, bodywork is hella cheap. Average body kit, including painting by hand and installation on car, is only US$350.

Trites: RHD??? All our cars are RHD, I wanna bring my CB7 back home 'cuz it's LHD!!!! :D

Here's another fave car of mine, it's another Indonesian car, but it's in Bali, not Jakarta, it's an Eterna VR4:

Yo, I think it's badass... I love red and would prob never leave the car if she was painted like that :) I do like the idea of hosing off hte interior when it gets dirty :p the rear end is a little dum IMO, but hey, you take the good with teh bad, and that's BADASS!!!!

sure the consensus is M/T but
I dont necessarily think A/T is such
a terrible thing.. you can work it
just like an M/T..

I guess it's just personal preference

I dont think its such a huge waste of money
but I do know where your coming from,.

seeing that I am in the process of switching my joint over
....
:( yeah.

Actually, in Indonesia, there is an enormous premium on automatic cars, so only the upper-upper class can really afford an auto. Also, the Honda Cielo (CD 5g Accord in US), is considered a luxury car, so it's actually kind of expensive, even used. So when somebody with the kind of money to do the kind of things that's been done to this car decides to buy a car, he/she will probably "splurge" and get an automatic! :D

agreed. in asia, most cars come in m/t and powered nothing. a higher premium is placed on a/t. anything "automatic" carries with it some form of "luxury". powered windows, powered door locks.

Wow, that really puts things into perspective! If a CD5 is a luxury car there, I wonder how some of the top of the line Acuras would go over... Also, I think a show car should be an auto. If you're building for looks and luxury, why should you have to shift? I'd probably modify the auto tranny to be as smooth as possible though.
