Was coming home from work at a light about to head straight into a long 55 mph two-lane highway & the kid next to me in his 3.1 L V6 Lumina takes off. He caught me off guard cuz here's my half sleepy ass just cruisin to get home. So I'm like...why not, it'll keep me awake. So he beat me on that cuz I wasn't racing but I still caught up & was side by side, then let off for him to merge over.
Anyways like miles down this highway I pull up at the light in my hometown after I had passed the guy on the highway...guess who pulls up on my left. So I see he's totally focused on the light...we take off & I rip thru 1st & 2nd with minimal slippage and by end of 2nd and just shifting into 3rd I already was up.
I know this is a sad story, my only point is our 88 Integra is a 1.6 L DOHC, non-VTEC and it beat an engine basically twice it size...yes it's 5 spd vs an auto though...but still....just sad...IMO any V6 should kick the shit outta a stock 4 cyl that's not a sporty type car.
