Forgot to update this ... Plans are to have a meet at the above park. We will have a pot luck style BBQ, everyone brings some kinda food, and we all pig out. We can do the photo stuff at the park, people might want to bring a football/basketball/frizbee, chairs.

In case we get rain on that day, we will be going to one of the parking garages, and will still have the meet. The food will be done as we go, we'll figure something out. But lets just all hope for no rain.

I would rather keep this a non-alcoholic event. For one, im sure its against the park rules, and mainly, I know we will all have to drive, some farther than others, and the one thing I dont want to see is drinking and driving.

And not to be picky.. but whoever gets the plates, try to make sure that they arent the cheapest... just one step up from the bottom is all I ask. The last thing we want is food on our laps from cheapie plates.

And also, it wouldnt hurt to bring some chairs if you have some sitting around. Im not sure how much seating there is, and how comfortable it is. Bug spray wouldnt be a bad idea as with a rain poncho and umbrella just in case :eyebrow:

If you want to bring something not on the list.. just reply or PM me, and i'll add it on. 2 liters of soda/pop would probably be easier, we'll make sure there are cups and ice.

Just wanted to post up about an accord meetup that is in the works. Planning for the 3rd weekend of the month. Well.. 3rd week, so dunno if thats 16/17 or 23/24. Im guessing the first one. ANYWAYS I just wanted to give a heads up for people that might be interested. We will probably have a chilled down park meet or something. Food/barbeque.. who knows. Just want to see how many people would be interested. I'll update the post when more specific information is known. Yeah, i Know the AT meet is this weekend.. but we couldnt make that one, so were just gonna have another.

I'm in jacksonville not ORL. Plans should be decided by wikked. But i will suggest Race Rock as the meeting place. Going there puts us right in the middle of a lot of mayhem along with food and refreshments.

even a place that we could do a little cook out ..

the dyno's aren't for tuning, they smooth the lines WAY too much. For baseline pulls? sure thats fine. For tuning?...hell no. Draw a diagonal line that just rises and you'll have an example of their dyno's printout

Thats what trees are for! Anyone know of a parking garage in the local area? How about one of the college parking garages.. Think we would need permission on a weekend? Im guessing it might be shut and locked.

But the meet would have to go on in a garage somewhere. As far as the food at that point.. might just have to go out to eat, but we'll make that call as it gets closer.

We are meating at that park at 10:57 sharp. The first post on first page by me is always updated with the latest information... so its easy to find. We still prolly need some more food/snacks to be brought, 20-30 people... we'll need more food! Doesnt look like too many people are interested in dyno'ing during the meet, so we'll just chill. Prolly play some sports, maybe install something for someone.. whatever, we'll go with the flow. Probably look for a nice place to take pics and whatnot.

I would rather keep this a non-alcoholic event. For one, im sure its against the park rules, and mainly, I know we will all have to drive, some farther than others, and the one thing I dont want to see is drinking and driving.

And also, it wouldnt hurt to bring some chairs if you have some sitting around. Im not sure how much seating there is, and how comfortable it is. Bug spray wouldnt be a bad idea as with a rain poncho and umbrella just in case :eyebrow:

Who knows when the meet ends.. pretty much when people start to go home. As far as where we want to meet in the park, Im sure the first people there will just find a nice parking lot, with plenty of parking, and we'll take it over. If people would start PM'ing me their phone numbers, the first ones there could get ahold of the packs of cars coming, and let them know exactly where we are...

Bump, only a few days to go. My front main seal aka. crankshaft seal is leakin like a bitch. Gotta replace it tomorrow after work, wish there was an easy way to do it. Im sure if I drove on it up there like it is, it would pop out and I would be SOL.

been doing that for a year now.. i would just keep them down but i have to drive back to ohio and then back here and i definitely want my a/c working. everything else is fine, holds a vacumn, but the compressor is shot from not having a line in it. too much dirt and grime locked it up. :(

But the meet turned out pretty darn well. Adam, PM me your apt. address, I am really wanting to figure out what my gas mileage was since I have half a tank, and did a whole crapload of driving. It only took me an hour and a half to get home thanks to people doing 10-15 over which is pretty unusual. Still need to freakin get my high speed accelerating/wobbling thing solved, its a real pain in the butt. But everyones cars looked good, and cant wait to see some pics since I didnt take but a few.

Well Im gonna pass out.

edit... freaking 240 miles from when i filled up in orlando till the time I got home, and managed to still have a half of a tank which puts me at 34.28mpg :bouncy:
