no, i didn't make it to hin. it was my first day off after doing 10 days straight at grady, and i just wanted to lounge and see a movie (both of which i did :D). trying to save up the dough for jdm headlights, so i gotta pick and choose, ya know.
i went last year and enjoyed it though. hopefully i can make it next year.
did you go? if so,what did you think?

there weren't too many accords at last years hin either. i only remember one cb7 (black sedan with a black widow kit, or it may have been a buddy club kit) and one 5gen (black sedan with airbrush graphics, ACE wheels, no shaved taillights w/ leds in the rear bumper... guy is in all-stars)
hopefully i'll go next year

Speaking of... anybody hitting up NOPI this year?
I registered yesterday, I think you get two passes if you register, so if anybody wants to just ride in Saturday or Sunday with one of us and wants a price break, I or another Phase 7 crewmember (Woohoo! That last statement was so ghey!!!), could prob'ly hook y'all up...

NEW MEET
This won't be one of our a typical meets...:
Our good friend Jarvis (red_gto) will be leaving on the 20th of October for his home country of Indonesia :( . So, it will be the last chance for Jarvis to meet you guys and vice-versa. :( The plan is to meet on Sat. the 11th at The Varsity in downtown Atlanta @ 2pm . I chose the Varsity b/c it seems to be relatively close to everyone and a well known land mark. I hope that works out for everyone. Once we have all eaten....we'll hit the streets for a cruise. And depending on time....I thought about doing a mountain run. But that alone will take about two hours. If enough people are down with it we'll make it happen. I went on one with a celica meet a couple of weeks back and it was hella fun!
If you think you can attend and/or have an opinion about the mountain run please post.
As always....the more the marrier. :D
If you haven't been to any of the meets...please come to this one.
Thanks
-Chris
Jarvis: Sorry bro. I went ahead and posted this hear b/c I was already in the middle of posting it on HS and AT....so I figured, what the hell.
Uncle_el....if you want pic of your car taken by the guy (cody) in the Celica...this is your chance. He'll be at the meet. :p

here's my member's ride section (http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=525)
my usual morning drive is pretty short, as i live across the street from sci-trek and drive to grady.
ga 400 is nice and straight. sometimes cops sit around the portion before the toll booth (headed north) or after the toll booth (headed south). i've done 75-80 and been passed by a cop w/o a problem.
roads near emory are decent, but there can be cops sitting around just waiting to give tickets. houston mill road is a nice road with curves, twists, and hills though.
briarcliff road late at night is cool- straight shot w/ some decent curves in there.

i also heard there some sick mountain roads in dahlonega, not sure of spelling, somewhere around the end of 400n i think.....never tried them out....but i do know of some really sick mountain roads up 85n to 985n to another highway, 206 or 306, then to 36west which cuts thru highlands,nc and cashiers, nc....speed limit is "55mph unless otherwise posted"....and after 11pm there are hardly any cops, and if there are they mostly drive older models jeep cherokees and ford broncos ( the oj model )so they really cant hang on corners and exit speed and unless theyre brakes are upgraded heavily they cant match entrance speed either....you just gotta know where to pull off so the cop cant call ahead and set up a road block or trap.....after 1am its on..but it takes about 1.5hrs to get there..
