Integra 2 dr- (Older gen. don't know what year) JDM B16 w/ ls transmission, skunk 2 intake manifold, intake, dc sports itr headers(so he said), full exhaust, no a/c or p/s, and gutted interior (he said it weighed 2300-2400)
Me - CAI, pacesetter headers, custom 2.5" exhaust with bombz "high flo cat", nology ignition wires, bosch +4 spark plugs, clutchmasters 9lb flywheel and stage II clutch, gude cam, no spare tire ect. in the trunk, motegi ff6 rims w/ sumitomo tires... I also had an extra person in the car with me, but he only weighs like 140.
It was my first time hanging out with car people around A&M so I figured I would try to make a name for myself. He didn't think my car would be so fast heheh they never do. Anyways, we raced twice and the first time at a quarter mile we were about dead even but he was pulling and by the time I let off 115-120ish (governer kicks in differently sometimes) he had pulled about 3 cars or so. We raced again but it was uphill a bit and with the lightweight flywheel that gives me a disadvantage so he beat me again but by about 1-2 more cars. I was suprised I did so well though. I was ahead of him for a while but once I shifted into fourth he started creeping on me. I had no idea those cars with the ls transmissions have such bad ass top ends it was very fast after 100...

Good job man. He's got more shit done with a lighter car, so keeping close is definitely a good thing. :bang: I raced this Del Sol once, didn't know what model it was or anything, so I said what the hell, I'll give it a shot. I took off, and he took off right after me. I got the jump, so I was ahead 1-2 cars until mid 3rd gear, then he pulled hard as fuck on me. I pulled over and talked to him, and he was like "what the fuck do you have?" I told him, and he was surprised because he said he usually kills civics and accords. I asked him what he had, and all he said was ls/vtec. I couldn't believe I kept up with that small car with an ls/vtec. I talked to some people and found out he had that engine built internally too, had a shitload of $$$$ in it. Definitely made me feel good about my little family car. :boink:

Yeah, I was definitely pleased with the results. Hell I have a four door family car with a full interior and the other car was a two door without a/c, p/s, or an interior.... it's the best of both worlds heh.

Well the DA is getting CTR cams and some other little stuff and then I think he's done for a while. He's been talking mad crap for a while though. "I beat a car with a cam in it!" he says. I'm like, "Great, you have two, and both of them have VTEC." He's like, "You know what I mean." Oh well, is there anything else on your future mod list coming up soon or is this about as far as it goes for the F22?

Yeah, seriously his car weighs a crapload less and makes about 40 more hp from the factory. That's nowhere near it for the f22. I'm working my ass off over the summer to get all I can for it. For now I'm pretty broke since I'm here at College Station with no job. Over the summer my for sure plans are p&p intake manifold and throttle body, kyb agx and neuspeed suspension. Depending on what kind of money I can make I will be getting nitrous, making a turbo set up, and building my engine. I doubt I'll have enough to do all of that this summer. Either way I want to have at least one big power adder so I'll be running at least some nitrous or a low boost (7psi) turbo kit on stock internals. My goal is nothing short of 400 hp and I know what I need to get there it's just waiting for the money to come in.

Fearit22, Glad I'm not the only one shooting for a lot of horsepower. I want to make 350-400 FWHP. I want to build the shit out of the f22 so it can handle a lot of boost, but I'll probably just run around 10 psi for daily driving, but turn it up at the track. It'll be a hell of a sleeper :boink: when it's done, cause around here people would just think it's a ricer, but little will they know  Most people around here call every Honda with exhaust a ricer

Yeah, it's really not too difficult. The only thing I worry about is the transmission because I'm not sure exactly how much power it can take. I guess I'll find out when it breaks lol. Just by building up the engine and doing a few small things you can get over 300 whp at 15 psi pretty easily. That's about what I plan on running and I'll most likely throw in a 100 shot of nitrous as well. Anyways, as for the ricer stuff I get the same crap around my hometown, but a lot of people are suprised at how fast my car is when they race me. Even this guy in the Integra didn't think I stood a chance against him at first.

well let's not forget that the b16 also had way less mileage than your f22. so, that also gives the integra more of an advantage w/ the fresh internals and all (besides the cam of course ;) ).

I think he said it only had 34,000 miles. I do have a pretty low mileage car though. I'm right at 100k right now. I think that might be part of the reason my car runs better than most other cb7's??

I want to build the engine fully so it will easily take the boost. I'm planning on sleeving the block, getting forged pistons and rods, machining the crank, p&p head, titanium springs & retainers, 3-angle valve job, etc. It'll take a while because it will be expensive as shit to get everything I want done, so I'd like to pick up an extra engine to build on the side so I can still drive my car. Can't wait to blow people away after I'm running high boost, leave 'em

If everything goes as planned, which it never does, I figured I would be looking at a little over $10k. It's really not that bad though. That's way cheaper than most new cars, so I might as well have the car I love and make it fast as hell.
