window visors

anyone here have the JDM window visors especially the ones for the coupe? it's those plastic pieces that go on the rim of the windows on the outside. some of you might think of it as ugly but i personally like it.

i have seen them on like eg and ek i know vision makes them but i have never seen any for the cb7. they do look a pretty nice from the ones i seen on the eg.

i have them, but iono if mine are jdm...they are honda though. i like the slimmer ones not out like mine...

a week or two ago a set of genuine honda (still wrapped in box!) window visors for a sedan went on ebay for $35... i was planning on getting them but the auction ended a few minutes earlier than i thought! i like the visors because i like to open the window when its raining, and they arent that ugly. keep an eye out for Honda ones, or you can buy a set from ventshade or windflector or something.

I have the VentShades ones and lovem. U can crack the windows and light one and the smoke gets sucked out the car like a vacuum, and it nice tobe able todo it when its raing too.

Yeah, I need to get a set also. It rains too much here in FL, and whenever it does, the only way to defog the front window is to blast the heat (since I dont have a/c anymore) And obviously that gets hot, but cracking the windows in a downpour results in nice wet leather seats. Anybody know who sells these? I would like some slim ones that only come off the window a small bit. They prolly wouldnt be that hard to make out of fiberglass w/a little bit of creativity but I dont have enough time.

I think I remember seeing them on ebay a while ago.. but I'm not real sure. I wouldn't put them on my car, but hey if you like them put them on there and snap some pics! :D

i think they go on with 3m heavy duty mounting tape.

my parents have always had Windflector vents on their cars, and my dad always makes sure to NOT get the ones that stick on with the 3M tape, but yes... chessboxer is correct. depends on the car, but the better deflectors get inserted into the window channel, but on our cars, theres no real sturdy window channel up at the top edge... just that rubber trim (that always seems to let peoples windows pop out). only ones ive ever found for our cb7s are the 3M stickon ones, which sometimes peel off :(

U peel it off stick it on and ur set. Iv had mine on 2 years and there not comin off ne time soon

i found these from the ad portion of a magazine. you can get them in clear or smoke. what sucks is that they only have sets for a sedan and wagon. no love for the coupes! :angry: but i really want the true OEM honda versions which are black and not transparent.

ive heard there ok, they just use 3m doulble sided tape to stick on to the car, as far as the oem's use double sided tape as well as clips that clip behind the weather stripping :tu:

what mines? i bought mines from Advance Auto Parts, there oem. they guy said it costed 40 bucks, since i knew him i got them for 30. so 10 bucks saved. there really nice.

vent shade sells the at autozone for coupes for 35.00 bucks, since they are pretty rare for a coupe, these will have to do until i findo some jdm one

sweeet, its nice to hear that coupe ones are popping up .. but first i want to see pix of someones coupe with them before i get a set. .. and if no one gets them .. i'll get them off ebay maybe in late january, if i have extra money
