Ebay... Nope! Stock 13 year old suspension! (They've sagged over the years, and I guess it doesn't help to have 200lbs worth of audio equipment in the trunk?)
I have JIC coilovers and a camber kit that I never installed either :tu:

Im guessing the tires were shit anyway...the one that was spinning was probably already bald as shit otherwise he'd have got some traction and there would have been no video. I was pretty impressed...I know my old 90 accord auto couldnt do it.

And yes those back tires had crazy flat spots on the way home. (Thump,Thump,Thump) Luckily I was putting my new tires on in the morning.

I don't have any papers to prove this but... I'm pretty sure the auto tranny on the accords is a lot faster if you shift through the 4 gears yourself as opposed to just leaving it in D. (I can chirp my tires from 1rst to 2nd in my automatic with relatively little effort) So your not completely screwed with the automatic... (My car is relatively stock, and I was about a foot ahead of a 2004 z24 cavalier, I also kill my brother's 95 esi 5 speed talon on a regular basis when in the 0-120kph range, after that I can't even keep up with him on the highway)
(And when I say "kill my brother's car" I mean by at least 7 car lengths!)

/\ You lose less hp through the drivetrain on a manual... so if you know how to drive a stick you can't be faster in an automatic stock vs. stock

Regarding the auto trans, what is worse: R -> D like in the video or N -> D with the gas pedal to the floor?

that confused me...a manual is somewhat faster because you can get the rev's up plus it has shorter gears.

Hubcaps (I scrapped the last set in a freak rabbit running across the service road accident...haha)
Believe it or not, I actually used bleach to do this burnout...didn't seem to do much  I was told it would...

Dude that video was excruciatingly long! I felt so bad for the Accord but that thing just kept going. I remember when I used to abuse my car (and, well honestly every car I was in) Once I was banned from the mall for pulling a e-brake U turn with my Dad's 2001 Mazda MPV. Man that was cool though!!!
Burnouts...Two Black lines? What?
*Ahem* F22A, F22a1 5spd.

that confused me...a manual is somewhat faster because you can get the rev's up plus it has shorter gears.
And there is less power lost, like the other guy said, because there is less slippage in the transmission, and the shifts are much more accurate. The result is better gas mileage and more HP.

the whole manual > auto thing isn't true for all cars though. all the 300zx guys take automatics over manual, because around here, they have run em, and the automatics are actually faster than manuals. and it's not just driver skill or mods, even stocks the automatic is faster than the manual.
so just because it's an auto, doesn't mean it isn't just as good as a manual if not better at times.
now back on topic, why bleach? just spray out some water, or dump it out and go that way. also, if you don't mind messing up your front bumper (or you could use some form of padding) you can put the nose of your car against a wall, wet the ground under your drive tires (before putting your car in place) and just slam the gas and that way you don't have to use the e-brake, your tires just spin in place.

I guess if all you do is drag race then an automatic in SOME cases can be a quicker shift than a manual... but in MOST cases the slushbox autos take a while to shift (as in the case of ALL Honda autos I've driven).
Also, there is this pesky problem with the auto tranny wanting to upshift while cornering... :eyebrow:
