Coupe vs Sedan mirrors

I've heard that there is a difference between the side mirrors from 2 and 4-door accords... what exactly are the differences? If I were to get a set of mirrors for a coupe, how hard would it be to fit them onto my sedan?

i wish i knew, but if there is a difference, and the mirrors you have are the JDM folding mirrors, i'll trade my JDM 4dr mirrors with relay and control panel and wires. they are dark blue but in condition.

thats what i was actually wondering about, the JDM's. i dont have a set of them, i wish i did... i was watching a set for a coupe on ebay a while ago, thats why i asked the question.

if i had a pair for a coupe i would definately trade with you... but if you ever end up selling your 4dr set... keep me in mind :)

yea there is addiference where the holes are to mount the mirror i think

is it something can be modified on the coupe to fit the 4dr mirror?

yeah i think they are different. the 90-93 tegs are the same way.

yes the holes are different but can be modified to accept the 4dr. only other problem is the triangle piece that sticks out seems a bit longer on one end and so it kinda sticks out on the bottom facing the window glass above the chrome trim. i believe this can also be modified to fit. the mirrors i have are from a 90-91 JDM 4dr accord cb? only thing i wonder about is whether the fact of the triangle piece being slightly off, and thus modified to fit, would hinder the rubber sealing out water from where the mirrors wires come into the car?

overall (IMO) yes the JDM 4dr mirrors will fit the 2dr with some modification.

i take it back. after i looked at everything closer realized that there is almost no way to make the 90-91 4dr fit a 92-93 coupe. the screw angles are different, the way the mirror lines up is totally different, and the fact if the mirror does line up with door and the weather stripping- then almost the whole metal piece on the 92-93 coupe door would have to be cut away and refabricated to accept the 90-91 JDM mirror. in short don't waste your money buy mirrors of atleast the same body style if not the same year!!!!! finding out that i have wrong mirrors just pisses me off to no extent. makes me want to shatter those fuckers but i wont.
