maybe if you printed on some transparent plastic, the ones for overhead projectors at school. and leave the ones to be lighted transparent. maybe... has potential

nice idea. put gray text or something and put it over your guages. put "www.cb7tuner.com" hahah.

i dont like the clouds though. it looks neat but overwhelming. maybe u can make a fake carbon fiber design. haha.

a friend of mine made his own guages for his teg...they came out looking like factory white face guages...but he's a perfectionist. i don't think the white guages look bad as long as you dont make them with crayons or something hehehe

im not a fan of white face gauges in general, but i really like the coloring of the last one you posted. you would need to change it to 130mph tho, but i kinda like it.

do you have any suggestions for a new background color? i can do any you like, or at least think would look good.
and heres the rest of the set

i personally would do this... kinda like reverse indiglows, but with a black face. would be a unique touch.

actually, i tried making my own kinda custom gauges the other day. i wanted the numbers to be the same, just the black face to be kind of a gradient, with black at the top, and a dark grey at the bottom... very subtle. never got it to work, i was using a transparency overlay.. it never dried, and never looked right. oh well, i shoudl follow this DIY sometime. are you goign to be doing it soon? take pics if you do!!

hey chessboxer, i have a copy of that fullsize scan of the white face gauges that u posted a while ago.... but the quality of the JPEG is pretty low, and it has lots of ghosting and blurs... do u have a full-resolution copy that you could send me, maybe a bitmap?
