How did you like them, and do they make your shit hop? I don't want it to hop, I want a nice smooth raise and drop for speedbumps, shows, showing off in front of "bootleg" ricers...all the good shit...lol...

it was smooth not much bounce but i had the fast valves so it moved very fast. i took them off because of tires 19 inch tires arent cheap.our gen accords are the only ones that the sub-chasie hits the ground when u pancake

if you stay with 17's or 18's on air you should have no problems with alignment. air ride rides good as long as its not all the way or all the way down

you will never be aligned. because its inpossible to land on the same spot.
when i had 18's my tires lastedme 17 months till i put the pistons on after that every 2 months i was changing tires.it was getting alittle expensive.
dont get me wrong i loved seeing peoples faces when i 3-wheeled on them but their faces didnt buy me tires.

very untrue man...i have 17's right now on cylinders and ive had my tires for more than 3 months and they are showing NO wear. and my car lays on the ground. actually the rears are starting to show minimal wear

I'd love to see some shots of air-ride on an accord, lifted, lowered, etc. Post 'em up here or email them to jspec@cell7.org

i was seriously considering getting air ride for my car in place of coilovers because that way i can adjust it alot without having to take it to a tire shop and have them do it cus i dont have a jack at home (if i did id change my header and shit)... but is it worth to spend the extra money on it.. im debating but i have until winter is over to think it over

To be honest with you air is not worth it...yea its really nice to be able to raise it with a switch, and it lays out good, but you'll more than likely gonna have it on jackstands for days then be able drive it maybe a week or two and something else happen...but then on the other hand, if you dont drive the car all the time, then I would suggest the air, but if its a daily driver like mine, its not worth it. Heres just a few of the problems i've goon through in the past 3 months: Busted fitting, about 17 different air leaks, cylinder fork bent and stripped threads, blew cylinder gasket, water got through my water trap and into the valves and cylinders, about 5 burnt up relays, no tread on inner tires, cracked front back and one side skirt. Thats just a few of the things that I can think of. Not to mention that it rides about like stock suspension w/factory stuts. So my advice to you is keep the coils, if you got a good set and get some aftermarker struts, I had GroundControl coils, Eibach springs, all new urethane bushings(strut assembly and upper control arm) and KYB AGX struts and it rode soo good even with the coils turned all the way down.--Jay

so very helpful accordlayinkit. i was highly considering air., and i knew there were problems but yeah i'll stick with my groundcontrol coilovers and kyb agx's
guess theres no reason to mess with it , if it rides fine.. ill just adjust my height to where i have no worries.. my bro gotts a tahoe on 20' s .. hes never satisified either. wants bigger wheels. u think the same probs would happen for his daily driver on air?
thanks

Yea, stick with the GC coils, you'll be much happier...just raise them up to a decent height, the only drawback to that is that is looks kinda funny with 2-3inches of fender clearance. On your friends tahoe it all depends on how its setup, alot of ppl have good luck with bags as long as you get quality products and have it installed by someone with KNOWLEGE of air suspension.--Jay
