Damn FaxPro was just telling me he got his wag painted for a really good price somewhere in San Jose I believe. I'll have to find out what the name of the place is again.

if you wanna do your own prep, goto miracle autobody. i went there over a year ago. i didnt do any prep, my bad, but the only thing is the front bumper has taken a beating. other than that, its held up pretty damn well.

i'm willing to do my own prep work, if it's cheeper for me.. no primering. but sanding and body/bondo work, i can do. Do you happen to know a general price? and where is Miracle Autobody?
I'm really looking for something affordable, i'm not looking for a color change so engine bay and door jams don't have to be painted .. i want Championship White.. but if it's costly stock Frost white is perfectly fine for me. thanx guys

These guys did up my 91 cb9 wagon a couple of weeks ago, great job in my opinion, great rate, body work [removed nicks/scratches/dings/stripped hood] and complete paint for approx 2k, I havent had time to take pics yet, they have done my friends vette too. Just tell them you got referred by Steve with the green wagon. They are into imports and hot rods, cool dudes

i can help prep if you need it?
for a budget consumer, id suggest a cheapo place.
mine was only around 530 after bodywork.
it holds up well and shines but if someone nicks it, the paint comes off pretty easily.

Yeah the paint looked great on your wag man. I was impressed. I might have to take a trip over there and get a quote. I need a new hood, but those should only be $60 or $70 bucks for a new OEM.

thats the one i went to....
they do prep but i assume that it is shitty.
so id advise taking off a majority of things and then take off the lights (like corner, bumper and taillights) when you are there so they dont get overspray on them.
remmeber to take everything out of the car because they will take your spare change!
