Any DYI write ups on how to take out the H etc and make it a hollow'd out grill?

that is a grill from a 90-91. how to hollow it out....dremel the fuck out of it!

92-93 has a smaller H, and looked different

yeah that's a 90-91... you might have to do some modification to get it to fit on your 92 - or at least they say you do.

yeah it's a 90-91...easy way to tell? The front bezel piece is all one piece and all chrome


on the 92-93's, the chrome bezel is just two seperate pieces and doesn't have chrome on the sides...much harder to make a grille in my opinion.

wow i didn't know this would cause such a huge debate. I was just wondering cause i was thinking about buying it if it was a 90-91, but i lost interest anyways lol.

bro, stop post whoring - it's a 90-91. like fliplyricist1 said, the whole damn grill and inner housing is chrome on the grill there (90-91). on mine (92), and on the 93's, only the top and bottom strips were chrome.

maybe you don't have a 90-91 and you think you do? LOL

everyone on this site is positive that its a 90-91 grille, including myself.

if you need more proof than was already given, you will notice that the pictured grille had two black strips of plastic going across the opening. the 92/93 grille only had one. you can confirm this by looking at the blown up diagrams on the previous page, also im holding one of each grille in my hands at this very moment. so dont tell me im wrong :)
