Yep, I'm certain was you. There was some damege on your kit if I remember correctly. People usually don't recognize my car as well with out my rims on. I was rolling on my stock alloys for a long time until I took these shots this past weekend.

Just barely; it's not as obvious on our accords as it is on civics and and tegs. I had my girlfriend drive my car one time and I followed her from behind in her car. You can see it from afar but barely from up close.

yeah... white rims can either make or break the overall look of the car... it depends on the 'total look'. IMO, White rims will work on most dark colored car as long as where is some white elsewhere on the car. For example: say I had my stock tail lights on and not the red/white tails or the white honda emblem; the rims would look out of place since the all the white is coming from the rims.

btw there should be tons of amber corner lenses on e-bay... they should go for about $15 to $20 if not less.

options: stay oem, pain the orange portions of the taillight red, do a sedan trunk swap and you too can have red/clears.

as far as i understand, you cannot. the orange portion can't be removed... i've never tried it though. my thinking on attempting to do so, would involve heating the lamp, hoping that the orange portion would sort of melt off... in other words, if it's some sort of orange element in there, it could come off. however, i believe it's the color of the plastic itself that's orange.

haha... good eye my friend. The rock the size of a meteor whacked it on the highway and all but cracked the clear plastic emblem. I just painted it black and clearcoated it. LOL... I didn't think it was worth listing up.

since we are on the topic of hitting road debris... I got clobbered by this sheet metal/debris on the highway this past saturday. The lip has died; shattered all along the passenger side... easy come easy go.

On a side note, I have blown (rather my bro did..stupid) the IG relay. I replaced it with the other 50a relay fuse my car has..the ABS motor relay. Now, the car will start, but no relay. So, anyone got any idea where I might be able to find one? Thanks..

I actually was about to purchase the Potenza 950's but they were way too expensive for my budget (over $100 each :shocked:). I ended up with a set of kumho 712's in 205/55/15. They have pretty decent performace for the price.

yeah, the mugen style lip is made of ABS plastic; It's cracks easily. I'm not sure the greddy lip is made of. I would assume it's a bit more durable than the mugen style lip, but don't quote me on that.

i don't know what the greddy lip is made out of, but a mini flood ripped it off of my car (had it bolted at the edges, but not in the center; the only pieces that remained were the edges- about 5 inches on each side, lol)

hehehe... thanks again for you generous compliments uncle_el. Nope... the paint is original from the dealer; never been in an accident or had it repainted. I just take really good care of her. I wash and wax religiously.

I take the pics with a digital Canon S40; 4 mega pixel; I don't use the optical zoom and I play around with the shutter an aperature settings. I good tip is to NOT use the flash and to use a tripod to steady the shot.

I sent the grill to an autobody shop. I gave them my paint code; they painted and clearcoated it. ;)

i just went to a professional paint store and had them mix up the paint for my car it was 95% accurate but u cant really tell the difference unless u look REAL close but im gonna post how do do the grill in the DIY grill that steve posted i got pics of me bondoing the hole where the H was and the finished product;)

ok, let me clear it up for everyone.

the story involving lithium92/black92accord is a simple one. i knew him from the superhonda.com forum (where i used to post a lot before starting cb7tuner) and brought him over here to help me start up CB7T. he helped out for about half a year as moderator and then disappeared one day during january of '04. at first, i thought he was just pissed because of the FSAE and HSHO crews starting up (which actually stopped becoming an issue just weeks after he left). he thought it was dividing the board up and segregating everyone into groups, which is true; it did get kinda pointless. however, then i noticed that he ALSO stopped posting on the superhonda.com forum as well (where he was also a moderator). in conclusion, i figured that he just wanted to escape the internet drama all together and concentrate on other things in his life. i still don't know why he couldn't have at least told me, though.

and yeah, i did try calling him a few times on his cell. at first i was getting an operator message telling me that the phone was out of service. then i started getting a wrong number. some lady would pick up the phone who didn't know a 'mike'. so i'm sure he changed his cell phone number as well. he was probably trying to cut off any contacts he had with everyone online. i heard a little while back that he's still doing fine and 'livin it up', though. i know at least two people that he still talks to online these days. i'm sure he still browses these boards as a guest or even member by a new alias. so, mike, if you're reading this - stop being a stranger! :p
