like what the subject says i need help taking off the grill from my 93 accord it has 4 screws took those off tried wiggling it and its stuck and i saw like a clip type of thing still holding on to it how do you take this off i want to do the diy grill that looks tight thats all black... please help thanks

Search.....its probably been said plenty of times, but if your too lazy I'll tell you: Remove all the screws, I think theres 5? Then take a screwdriver and stick it down into the little slot to undo the claps, then wiggle that sucker out. Once out you can break those annoying tabs off so next time you only have to undo the screws to get it off.

do those tabs do anything? or its juss there for extra support ya know i dont wanna break anything now..

i think you have to get like a flat head screw driver to pop the clips out that are stuck into the frame thats what i did

Hmmm......didnt I say that:confused: but anyways yea, the screws will hold the grille on just fine without those tabs, Ive had mine without no tabs for about 2 yrs. The tabs are also to help you align it back up...but theres really no need for them.

whoops didnt know you said that i guess i wasnt paying attention. like akkordlaykit was saying you dont need the taps anyway as long as you have the screws to hold it on you should be fine
