View Full Version : gauge needles sticking w/ indiglos

yea i juss put the indiglos in but i think my gas needle is stuck cuz it like doesnt seem to read right. also my mph is a lil behind, is there n e thing i can do, or is it screwed and will stay like that or eventually like smooth itself out and be fine?

check the holes where the needles stick through. Some times the smallest little bump will mess things up.

Yeah i had that problem with the tach. Just wiggle it, then make sure your finger can slide it without resistance. I woudlnt worry myself with the gas gauge to much though, just estimate, its never been acurate before so why kill myself.

ALSo the screws holding the guages down might be too-tight causing the guages to "GROUND" i had the problem with my indiglo's

Mine did the same thing so I just bought some real thin double sided scotch tape from office max and put it on the back of the gauges then pressed down so they would stay down better. that worked for me and the needles never stuck again.
i took my gauges out though because tehy get really annoying after a while when your driving at night.. so i just went back to another oem cluster witha CF bezel.
