Most peeps are prepping for the NC meet in April. Personally, for those that can only afford to go to one meet, I'd rather have them go to the NC meet. This for me is something to do and hold me over until then. Besides, you Chi-town peeps should have a decent crowd yourselves for the peeps you have.

Just FYI, in case some last minute guys from the Ohio/Michigan area decide to go to this meet. Brian is coming Friday evening (Feb. 10th) to my house, we're going to do a quick tune-up on his car and leave by 10-11 am Saturday to get to Chicago before 3 pm (gain one hour).

Any last minute peeps on my end of town, PM me if you decide to stroll over with us. It will be like a 4-hour drive for us from my house.

Yo Jspec, It's Will, I met you at World Of Wheels, I'm down but won't be able to stay the whole time, got a wedding to attend that night. I might be able to get a hookup for everyone at the clubs, in particular Celler or possibly Zentra. This basically means no cover at the door. Hey you guys probably won't see this till the meet is over and done with but it looks like I won't be making the meet. Not sure if I mentioned before to chris but we have a wedding to go to today and it's farther than i originally thought so I won't have time to make it to the meet and back in time to make it out to the wedding. My appoligies. I will definately try my best to make any future meets!!! Granted it is not snowing like today!!! ha ha. Summer tires own me!!

Heys guys, sorry I wasn't able to make it to the meet. I'm was in the final process of painting my car. It's done, needs some sanding, but it's looking hot!

It was fun, very cold, but fun. Of course Cisco had to go and get lost and didn't make it there until well after 5:00 and we were all hungry by that time so we went and ate at some flat rate chinese resturaunt in china town ( :thumbsdwn )

After that we cruised around downtown (not much fun) and finally stopped somewhere for a picture opportunity. Then we went to a gas station, got some gas, and headed out of town.

Overall it was good fun, but I don't think I'll be making a trip back north in March for another even if the weather is warm. :shrug:

Oh and I only have one picture because my camera died immediately after taking that picture. Shaun got a little bit of race footage and a fish eye walk around of the cars.

4 4th gen accords, a crx, and wrx... lol... well, plus cisco, if he ever showed.

We had 7 - 4th gen Accords and a 91 CRX. You didn't stick around :p Chicago traffic isn't exactly reliable to be on-time. Brian and I were late, John/Art rolled in soon after we did as well. You also have to remember, this meet wasn't advertised as being large, it was something to do before our large NC meet in the Spring since some of us wanted to get together and I wanted to meet some of the new guys I didn't even have a clue as to who they were. Some of you have got to get the "every meet has to be huge meet" out of your heads. Some people are all talk, some are not so you will never know how much til that day anyways.

By the way, weather sucked so obviously my car and many others were dirty Nick. You could have been designated car wash bish if you were down here :D Tony had us all beat on cleanliness.

all in all, it was pretty good. imagine what the numbers could be like with better weather. Well, i was standing out there in the cold for awhile. jspec had no coat. lol. pretty die hard, considering I dont even have an accord no more. lol. Gf was bored, so I left a bit after 5, we hit the casino. Glad to see it turned out really nice. Looking forward to more meets. Accord Love! :thumbsup:

I'm pretty pissed that I couldn't make it to the meet even though I really wanted to go badly. So much was going on for me at the time that I couldn't have made it to begin with.

My winter beater accord wasn't all that to show but to make the whole convoy look bad (badly rusted rear quarters)-->noticeable. My black ride is put away for the winter, she's sleeping.

I had to work all day last Friday and to serve as juror duty before then.

Well, Cisco and Brian, maybe next time guys, sometime in the spring or
summer when the weather is warmer and that I can prepare my cars then for
the next long hike whenever there might be another meet coming up.

There is no chance that I will make the NC meet that's for sure. Too long of a drive, I can bearly make it to Lexington, KY when I lived down there for a year and a half, (7 hrs from P-town Canada) in one day.

I might be up for the Ohio meet that I keep hearing about thru the board
that I think I can hack the 5-6hr drive, I'll have my black accord to take with me at that time, I'm sure, but still too early to say for sure that I will attend the Ohio meet, we'll just have to wait and see.

OK, peace out guys for the Chicago meet, would have liked to have met the rest of you. :wavey:
