View Full Version : which accord would you prefer?

I just bought my '91 CB8 a couple of weeks ago. Before that, I had a '96 CE7.
For me it was a hard decision, but I wonder what would you have done?

Pro CB8:
-more room
-bigger engine (h22a)

Pro CE7:
-5 years younger
-ABS
-Airbags

All the other options were pretty much the same.

pics of both:

Did I make the right decision?  :p

Cb8 is the Euro Cb9, it has the same chasis as the cb9 only it's named the aero deck instead of the wagon, gets all the euro glitz and glam with a few. Why Honda changed the actual chasis code is beyond me.

Thes are OEM lips by the way, very hard to find...!

maybe I should have tried to sell it right here... :)

Wow, that CE7 is so... european looking! I never saw one of those. I definitely like the look better than the US offerings.

However, that CB8 is gorgeous. So clean, such a nice color... A well done wagon/aerodeck (is there a difference? or is it just a US vs. Europe name thing?) is always attractive. Of course, you could say I'm partial to the CB line...

I still think the CE Accord looked a lot nicer. They've got a lot more room for improvements. U can chuck a h22a vtec in. Honda made a mistake never putting a h22a into one. The CE7 looked prettier! Anywayz, ive been looking for kits for my honda accord for ages. Any good sites u recommend goelette??

What kind of accord do you have? I found one other topic you openened, but I can't reply there yet (newbee), and you're talking about an ascot innova? the link you provided ther shows the '93-'95 accord euro. I think it's a cc7. You could get it with a 1.8i or an 2.0i engine.
in '96 there was a facelift model, the ce8. And thats my car. All the same exept for the grill, headlights, taillights (red/white instead of red/orange), and some differences in the interior.
i will ask a friend of mine for some sites for bumperkits. they were very hard to get since the only fabricate a lot of shit for cars that were sold in the USA... bigger market. But recently some kits turned up for the cc7 and now even some kit for the ce8.

Click the link below to go to my clubs internetsite; it's in Dutch but I think you'll get it :) You can find a ce8 with bumperkit there...
