    I got ya. my plan for this build is solidarity. ha. I feel like with the info you just told me i should go with pretty much stock clearances. Im going to give credit to you for helping me with this build for sure man. Thanks alot.

    No, with new rods you will have to measure the big end bore and the crank rod journals. You may need to change the bearing colours depending on what measurements you get from the new rods. it also depends on what clearances you want to run. Some builders use different clearances depending on the engines desired uses and hp output.

    Even tho i got the bisi rods i should go with the color code still right? I will micing the crank and bottom end of rods to make sure.

    Maybe by then the overpriced off the shelf ITB's will have dropped to a reasonable price. Then you could just bolt a set on and away you go!

    Yo i just want to say thanks for the advice, also your motor looks bad ass. after im done with this build, a while after, i may feel inspired to do the custom ITB's but that will be a long time.
