I finally figured it out! For some reason, Gold and Foundation members (but not Silver and Bronze) had the "use friends list" feature unchecked. I fixed it. You should be able to accept and send friend requests now. Sorry about that!
Strange. I wonder if the premium membership status affects it. I haven't heard of any problems in the past, but I'm not sure how many people really use that "friend" feature. I'll poke around in the settings and see if I forgot to check something. Let me know if anything changes! Sometimes this software seems to act up for no reason, and then the issue disappears.
Mike, Crankshaft was trying to 'friend' me, but the 'friend' check box for me in his contacts doesn't show up, he indicates my username is the only one that he doesn't have the option to friend. My options are set to allow 'friend' email requests. Is there an option I missing that locks me out of 'friend'ing (not that it means a tremendous amount to me - I try to consider everyone on here a friend). Thanks, Paul
Yeah, they're usually pretty outrageous. I suppose they factor in the cost of the part, the cost of labor to pull the part, and then you have shipping... but it can be useful as a last resort!
I was shopping for a P28 ECU years ago, and I'm pretty sure I wasn't finding anything for under $150. My local yard (at the time) would sell me one for $15!
Didn't want to hijack Honda Lady's thread. I did check car-part.com - like you said, kinda pricy. The two close U Pull lots only want $25 for the glass, they just don't have a coupe at the moment. I can be patient as mine is only cracked at the moment.
