    I'm guessing that you are referring to the ignition coil and distributor connections.......If so, there is quite a bit of info regarding internal and external coils in the swap FAQ. Sorry I don't know right off hand what would be best in your situation. I would have to look it up as well.

    The P13 will always stay the same, it is the last three digits in the code that you need to be aware of. They will tell you whether the ECU is for an auto or manual transmission as well as what version it is and what market it was made for.

    First letter = country of origin
    J = Japan
    C= Canada
    L = California emissions or typically high altitude states as well.
    9 = Japan or factory refurbished.

    Second digit-denotes transmission. If it is 5, 7 or 9 then the ecu is auto, anything else would be manual, usually 0

    Third digit denotes the version/variation of the main board.

    Example: P13-A51 = A H22A1 VTEC USDM Automatic version 1 ECU.

    Not exactly, the H22A4 is OBD2. It does not have the same sensors in it as the OBD1 H22A1. It only has the CYP sensor inside it. as Apposed to the A1 having three, TDC, CKP & CYP sensors.

    The H23 harness would be the next best choice. It doesn't have the wiring for VTEC. However, the rest of the sensor wiring will be in the right position. So, if you use it you will have to add VTEC wires.

    I would love to but in all honestly i am the wrong person to ask about wiring.... There are a lot of threads on here about it and if something isn't covered just post up and ask. Atleast that way you get different people's input. Sorry i can't personally be more help. Good luck.
