maybe since these zombie threads are coming back for pertinent info, you could implement a color scheme for the threads titles. Like an eq from green to red as green is relatively new and red or orange would be substantially older, then maybe the new threads of basically the same query or at least answered many posts later wouldnt populate and become seperated from the "cloud" of info
