Yeah, you're definitely not one of the offenders. I'm not really even sure who is to blame, if any. I think the issue is more so that a high post count is often regarded as a sign of knowledge. Best not to have people with 7000 "nice car!" posts giving bad advice to the noobs and not being questioned because of their high post count.

Hell, I'VE given bad advice and it's been taken as pure unquestioned fact because of my post count and status... I'm far from an expert myself!

I stopped post counts from going up in the MRT section. Too many people posting like crazy, jacking up their count, and then being regarded as "experts". One of the mods brought that to my attention.

Old cars are fun with their problems and all. Somedays they feel like an old dog and you need to take them out back, but then you look at it and say a few more years, few more dollars.
