sweet ride bro, and i like ur rims too.

604_SE 05-23-2011 11:19 PM

Nice to see another SE with a H... like what you've done with it :tu:

domesticated 05-24-2011 12:11 AM

It's been very tastefully modded. Only cosmetics is the window visors, lights, and rims. People only notice the rims so that means everything else looks like it could be OEM. Side markers are clean, fogs look great, and Audi projectors look sick. Now its onto a 5 speed LSD, AMR coilovers, ES master bushing kit,and a total restore of the suspension and steering components.

sikz6 05-24-2011 02:04 AM

Sleeper. nice plans. Suspension upgrades are always worth it.

92accordkidd 05-24-2011 04:15 AM

nice car u have a sleeper for real loving the look

accordtypeR 05-24-2011 08:03 AM

Very nice...

cb7_with_snail 05-24-2011 10:10 AM

What wheels are those in the third pic?

SPLCB7 05-24-2011 10:16 AM

Did you paint it? It looks good:thumbsup:

MikeW 05-24-2011 10:29 AM

Looks 100x better. :tu:

I really like the retro. Engine needs a little TLC though. All-in-all, not a bad start and future plans sound good, too.

domesticated 05-24-2011 01:28 PM

The black rims were Momo 15's of unknown model. Current rims are Konig Blatant silver 17x7's. I'm going to be getting rid of them and going with a 17x8.

Didn't paint it, just spent about 6 hours on buffing, poilishing, and waxing. Im just going to grab a carbon hood so it looks clearner as the rest of the paint was salvageable.

As far as the engine I'm torn. I want to restore the P/S, A/C, and cruise control, but you can't fit a snail in there with all that stuff. So I'll either go with 300+ whp and spray, or I'll ditch the A/C and throw on a GTK550.

MikeW 05-24-2011 01:34 PM

Reminds me of Ralphie's old SE. Any pics of the cut-off from the headlights?

domesticated 05-24-2011 01:48 PM

This was with the 4300k, now it has 10000k.

These cheap 10000k's look sick, but the output isn't as good. I couldn't find a D2S bulb in 10000k so I used a D2C and the cutoff and light pattern suffered as a result. I'm going back to Philips 6000k D2S bulbs. But for 45 dollars shipped I can't complain about the bulbs too much.

MikeW 05-24-2011 01:56 PM

Nice. :tu:

domesticated 05-24-2011 10:06 PM

Did some looking around. Turns out Treadstone's kit is still A/C, P/S, and maybe cruise control compatible. Maybe I'll just throw their base kit on for now and run 8lbs on a stock motor. Easy kit to build off of.

PR CB7 05-24-2011 10:37 PM

people in idaho do it big, like potatoes:tu:

domesticated 05-24-2011 10:54 PM

Haha, little do you know. The grey EG behind my car has an H22A and we were putting a T70 on it, the reflection of a blue car is a 3000GT VR-4, next to it is a T70 MK4 supra, in front of the supra is a 16g lancer evo, and on the other side of the EG is another boosted EK. That's how we do.

domesticated 05-25-2011 11:38 PM

Well, the Accord is getting parked tomorrow until August 20th. I'm leaving town for the summer and can't take it with me. Plenty of time to save up for new tranny, new suspension, and boost!

Daheavyking 05-26-2011 11:00 AM

Looks real good man!
