Real interstates always have traffic.

Thats a sad excuse for an interstate IMO.

If you have time, get a tripod out.

Try I-65 at rush hour.
If you're not stopped completely, you're going less than 5mph.

I use to get off at 6 when I lived in Nashville.
I never got home until about 7:00-7:15, and my house was about 15 miles from work.

Ya thats not no I95

But mad props ive always wanted to do that!

keep in mind the pics were taken at 3AM and the stretch of interstate I was in usually has troopers patroling about the time I was taking the pics... This part of the interstate has the best lighting for what I was doing, and I wanted to get some night pictures, Of course daytime is next, and if I can pull off a few shots during real traffic, I'll do it* :tu: But for now, It's good enough for me considering I got a few shots off before the trooper was up on me! :laughy: perfect timing! :bouncy::bouncy:

Justin Patton 10-11-2008 11:53 AM

....and yeah, it's NOT I-95..... I kinda like the idea of being able to slowly take a few pictures without the idea of dying for it.... I kinda like living, you know, and living and driving my car sounds a LOT better! You Know? :p

Justin Patton 10-11-2008 12:37 PM

If anyone has some Cool pics I wanna see them! :bouncy: Give me some ideas, SAFE ideas* :) Post your killer pics..... :wavey:

....and Thanks Ralphie*

Justin Patton 10-11-2008 03:01 PM

I took the photos myself on my digital camera that was in the car at the moment.... and the lights in the back about a mile back were actually those of a State Trooper..... luckily I pulled my shots off, and was back up to speed when he came up and got off at the next exit... :tu:

sackingz123 10-11-2008 05:09 PM

get the tripod out and 20 second shutter that hoe

Justin Patton 10-12-2008 04:08 AM

Sakingz123....that sounds like a good idea* :o) I almost pulled some more pics 2nite but I had a state trooper 2nite posted in the area where I took my last pics.... Party Foul! LOL! :p

one time a friend and I stopped on the middle of I-87 (NYS Thruway) to hang out and set off fireworks from the side of the highway. thats about the only time ive stopped to hang out on an interstate. oh, that time, plus the other time we stopped to play frisbee from one side to the other.

Lol...I95 is always freakin busy.

kouzie 10-12-2008 11:59 AM

I should try that too.......

have someone take it while you're driving.....:D:D

Sobeman81 10-12-2008 04:50 PM

you'd be so much more cooler and JDM if you ghost rode the whip and took pix while it was moving. :idiots: sad excuse for an interstate. try that in Chicago and some ricer will prolly end up running into you.

Justin Patton 10-12-2008 04:55 PM

Nice.... I won't try it in chicago... plus, too many holes and bumps, and not enough straights without cameras :laughy: CP Mike, that is hilarious....

Keep in mind with extreme, be cautious* I wouldn't wanna ghost ride my car, I'm afraid it will get a mind of it's own, and NOT COME BACK!!! :laughy:

Justin Patton 10-12-2008 05:00 PM

I figured it would be a more personal touch if I did all the pictures myself... :laughy: maybe next time, someone will wanna do a photo shoot with me in the wee hours of the morning... :tu:

...the lights in the distance did belong to a State Trooper, hehe* he happened to get off the next exit after I had already gotten back to speed, and was back to cruise mode* :bang: plus, that part of the interstate has NO camera footage, except for me doing it*
