Many people elect not to use adjustable gears, as they can be a pain to set perfectly. I don’t believe it’s necessary, but it’s true that you’ll be able to pull more from your setup with a good set.

Exactly. It’s a car that can be impressive without being “fast”. It falls between the Miata and S2000 in terms of being a chuckable sports car with just enough power to be fun.

I just picked up an Aoyue 469 60 watt soldering station to build guitar pedals. I'll have to see if a plastic-welding triangle tip is available for it. I think it's a common sized iron.
