J25A pistons compression height for F23 block with F20B crank??

J25A has a crazy short stroke of 71.6mm (which implies high domed pistons) the bore is 86mm

Has anyone measured these pistons?

I wonder if it would work okay with this setup

Okay to use a 7/16-24 bolt to hold my timing belt tensioner onto my block?

I can't seem to find a M11-1.25 bolt anywhere. 7/16-24 is very close. Will it be problematic?

I'm eliminating my balance shaft belt and converting my h22a4 to manual tensioner.

Have any of you ever done anything to the oil pumps to raise the pressure? I know there's a spring with a ball at the end of it that regulates the pressure.

Can I use a 3rd gear as 4th gear?

I've been doing some calculations and was wondering if anyone's ever tried flipping over 3rd gear on the mainshaft to use it as 4th gear. The ratios would be perfect in this transmission i'm building.
