Nope you are correct, putting the tranny in is a pain. I would rather pull an engine then pull just a tranny out. It’s very awkward and getting it just right takes some finesse.

Mine do the same thing! I even got a known good one from Paul and same thing. I wonder if maybe we are use to newer cars and how fast they go? Or our motors are just old on all of them.

Sounds to me like your brake booster is going out which could be contributing to all these issues. Booster uses vacuum which can affect your idle.

Powder coating is where they spray a special powder onto the surface and I believe electrically charge it. Then put it in an oven and bake it for so long and it adheres to the surface. Itís holds up...

Nice word! But that's about average on powder coaters and welders. They want/need a clean canvas. I would take the valve cover to a machine shot, have them hot tank it then take it to the powder...
