I'm not a huge fan of Fuji. Their system is basically APS-C IQ for FF money. They do have some more affordable bodies and lenses, but then so does Canon EF. I just saw that the 6D is only $999 new......

Personally, I won't miss old school DOHC VTEC. At least not the small displacement stuff. Revving out to 8-9K is cool... with like 4-5 liters of displacement. Something like a B16 HAD to be revved...

I have Teins on my G37. Build quality wise, the Chinese stuff is still good. The reason they made the switch is for cost, but the biggie was really moving to sealed dampers for their budget line...

OP get an H23 intake plenum and throttle body. That will give you a decent bit of peak HP and a shitload more at the fuel cutoff.

You dont want a shallow oil pan. Look into dry sump kits. Pricey but cheaper and less of a hassle than swapping engines. CB oil pans hang low naturally, I have killed 3 CB engines with oil pan bangs....
