dont want to start any shit, but I just thought Id point out the fact that we're trying to get power and performance out of grocerey getters, and we're doing a good job of it. A car like a z06 on the other hand is a performance model car. so yeah it would be easier to get more power out of one of those, but if we decided to go with one of our performance models(s2k,Itr,Atr,etc..)then who would be a big dog.....

How much road noise do u get with the tar missing? As much as i like blowing peoples minds when i tell them the car is heavier than stock i'd still like to bring down the weight to about 2600-2800 with me in it without compromising too much comfort or ride quality. Ever get any complaints from your passengers?

My cousin's all motor street legal 84 Monte is faster than probably any other street legal all-motor Accord, but you know what, he doesn't go around saying imports suck, in fact he's looking into one because they interest him. It's ignorant comments like that that foster hositlity between the factions if you will.

Btw 2point6, taking out Z06's are fun. When my cousin beat one with his Monte (which is pretty beat looking) the guy flipped out, it was great.

As AccordWarrior said, the fun lies in being able to beat a performance car with a non-performance car like the CB7... especially one that's driven daily. I believe we had a 9 or 10 second boosted CB on here at one time, but I don't think that was a DD. 2point6 drives his car to work (I believe... where he works on it ) AND it's capable of beating a Z06. I doubt he could beat a Z06 with any significant mods, but then again, it's an Accord!

Like I said in my previous statement, he's faster than what is advertized as the fastest all-motor Ford Focus. Now, there are more aftermarket parts for the Focus, and it is a much newer car. When companies brag about 13 second NA cars, that means that's something impressive for a 4 cyl car. 2.6 is running in the 12s now, and I have faith that he'll be in the 11s by this time next year (well, I hope... there are LOTS of things he can still do to that car!)

Personally, I have a slightly lightened LX sedan, with a slightly modified H22. I still don't think I could beat a poorly driven Mustang GT, let alone ANY newer Corvette!

I scraped off my tar with a screwdriver and hammer from the trunk and front seats. I left the tar in the backseats because I couldn't see how to get the carpet up back there without taking out my seats or cutting into it...

anyway, I don't notice a whole lot of noise increase, even with my exhaust. I do have a 24" resonator so that cuts the exhaust noise way down. The one thing I notice is I can hear the engine better (valves, vibrations, intake) at low speeds, but wind noise and exhaust noise is the same on the freeway. Sometimes when you hit rocks or debris on the road it'll bounce of the bottom of the chasis and you hear it ring a little more than when there was tar. I dont even notice it now though, and nobody has ever said anything about it. Trunk and front seat tar was about 15-20 pounds. -- I brought all the tar into the grocery store and threw it on the produce scale

I have been on many forums before and after this one and not once did a thread ever get dragged out so much. I didnt even remember this forum existed until I got an email saying there was a new post in this thread. You all keep saying 2.6 knows his shit and Accords can be fast just look at 2.6 and all this BS. Let 2.6 stand up for himself, he is not some kinda helpless fool especially if he did all that stuff to his car. If you want to prove accords can be faster than domestics(whether camaro or otherwise) put your own damn car up to the challenge cause until you own 2.6's car then you cant talk for him.
