    Stainless Clutch Line

I am looking to install a single stainless clutch line with AN fittings.
Does anyone already know thread and pitch sizes for the slave and master cylinders?

    Alternate:
Buy TAS Auto Clutch Line (dampner to top mount tranny, banjo bolt)
And keep the hard line from tranny to slave cylinder.
I would remove dampner and do an adapter to -AN fittings
Question (to those that have purchased TAS clutch line):
What is the thread and pitch size of the opposite side of the banjo bolt?
And does it seperate? I know I could just throw a metric to -AN adapter.

If this has been covered, my apologies. Been looking for a few days now!

why? The hard lines are better, the ss line allows for expansion. (greater pedal travel) If you have to replace only do as much as you have to.

hmm I read it was better for to replace the rubber hose with this.
so yah I thought it would just be better to replace the whole thing.

makes sense tho. so can I remove the dampner with the TAS auto line?

not sure on the tas line. I had one made that goes from the hard line to the tranny, thus bypassing the dampenr and second hard line.

You will need a few pieces to make the line, When priced out it comes up around $75.

I bought the entire line from a vendor on hondatech. BandRfittings is the vendor. Check him out. Great service and fast shipping. I reccommend him.

when i ran the line from the CMC to the slave, i deleted out the dampner by hooking up the TAS SS clutch line directly to the hardline that stretches from CMC to the dampner. On the TAS line, both ends of the line can unscrew, as for the thread pitch and all that jazz i have no idea because i had to send TAS a section of the hardline with the old fittings on it for them to make me an adapter.

Has anyone experience any trouble after removing the dampener?

I have removed the dampner on my other car with absolutley no issues.
I did not however go the 1 line route. it is all hard lines.

as far as using bonaco. where are the 12mm x 1.0 to -3an fittings?
I looked everywhere, does not appear any shop has them.
                    Lemme know!

You'll feel a tad more vibration through the clutch pedal but it won't damage anything, many members have done it with no ill effects.

Go to their home page and click the link to "request an online quote", click through and it'll give you all the options. Make sure you also select the correct shape fitting (concave/convex), I can't remember which the cb7 needs though, but I think you need both ends to be concave.

I would go with concave, since the way of the master cylinder and slave cylinder.
so we shall see. I really wanna get this done.

edit: parts ordered from Pegasus Auto Racing
Part #3-48-S-90 which is 48 inch Size 3 TFE Hose, Straight Swivel to 90 degree Swivel
                          Part #3265-16 Male 10 x 1.0mm Metric Convex Seat to 3AN
                          Part #3265-42 Male 12 x 1.0mm Metric Convex Seat to 3AN Male

I ordered 2 sets one for each car. Should be good from the info I gather.

You are getting them to build the lines and not just ordering components I hope...?
