    brake pedal going to floor

    this just happen with in the last week. i know it could be the brake booster or the master cyl. has anyone had this problem and which part was the problem thanks

    Sounds like the brake booster or master cyl took a crap or you have ALOT of air in the system and it needs bleeding.

      are they a way to test the booster bro?

        if you have a leak some where theres you problem. but my guess its the master, if the fluid is good and it drops its the master. if you here a vaccum leak/hissing sound its the booster.

          Check fluid level
          Check for leaks
          If both are fine, it's your master cylinder. Replace ASAP! You can lose brake pressure anytime and that just = bad.

            it's most likely your Brake Master cylinder. the seals inside go bad which 'causes the pedal to go the floor. Again, check your brake fluid levels. if they are fine, it's most likely the BMC.

            takes about an hour or two to change including bleeding of the brakes.
