How did you get them back together? just the melted sillicone?

good idea, i should do these to my stock set since they're all yellowed out from my failed diy ambering lol.

i wonder how these would work with jdm coupe corners.

there is really no silicone glue that holds them on, its more like a super glue, the heat in the oven allows it to pop off easier, when you put it back on, i used loctite stick&seal waterproof glue, takes a bit to cure, but i have yet to have it fog the inside since we've had all this rain and fog.

i'm sure it would work just fine, i wasn't aware there was a difference
but the concept should be the same

i have amber corners on the way from amazon. If they dont bring the reflector im defenetly doing this before they go in the car. Ambers without reflectors are ghey.

Awesome when I blacked my cornners, I tried putting one bact together first using super glue ... Than I tried gorilla glue on the other, and it fogs really bad...

              Thanks.

Nice write up. I did this about 5 years ago but i used this stuff called Ambroid plastic weld to glue them back together. I don't think they make Ambroid anymore but this stuff called Tenax 7R is the same.

                          got mine today,

i used the whole amazon light, so i just added the reflector.
for those of you who dont know its only one screw that holds it.

                          Final product.

ill have pictures of them on the car tomorrow.
